Relaxing and Stressless

This is a lovely property in a great central but peaceful part of Ortigia. There is a bus from Syracuse bus and railway station that stops beside the little square next to the property. Plenty of facilities in the location and only a five minute stroll to the sea and a love!y promenade. In a historic building, inside it is modern and spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. We had the room with the exclusive terrace which was lovely coming back to in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine. Fabio is a really good, kind and thoughtful host. He gave us really helpful information and even booked a dinner reservation for us to watch the sunset. He checked in with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed and everything was okay. Another bonus was the use of a washing machine. After travelling and about to move on again this was perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Fab to anyone wishing to spend time in Ortigia.

Unexpectedly Small with Difficult Stairs.

As you look at photos posted of Casa Fab, be aware there is an other one not pictured that comes as a surprise. Billed as the unit with an exclusive terrace, and even though the size is included in the description, we were shocked to see how tiny the space was. Double bed squeezed into an alcove forced us to crawl in from the end. No living room. No kitchen. Small adequate bath. The biggest drawback was the last of 3 sets of stairs that were narrow, steep with no handrail. Pretty scary.

Fantastic Casa Fab .

Loved Casa fab .
Fabio was a wonderful host & gave us lots of useful information.
The apartment is so central , so handy for nipping back to , and for walking all around beautiful ortigia . Really enjoyed the location - it was very safe . Loved having a washing machine too .
Would absolutely stay there again !!

A cosy appartment

Fabio is a committed, competent and fair owner. He knows very well the city so please ask him about the best place to see, top restaurants and his tips. The Apartment is new and clean. If you have a car the flat is in the center and it is not easy to find a parking. If you are a family remind there is only a bath.
