Excellent B&B...

We just spent three days...the B&B is very clean, welcoming, and convenient because it is in the center of Ortigia and near the Talete parking lot, which is paid but very convenient since it is a ZTL area. It is located on the 4th floor of a building and we used the room according to our needs in total autonomy. The room was comfortable, cool, and quiet, even though the building is on one of the central streets of Ortigia. Ms. Loredana, the cleaning lady, was very welcoming and discreet. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing vacation in a place as clean and welcoming as their own home.

Loredana is very brave, but the facilities are half-finished.

Positive: Loredana is very brave, available, attentive, and very kind.
The location is excellent. The room is spacious. Gluten-free breakfast.
Negative: The parking lot is far from the venue to allow for coming and going with luggage. The bathroom installation had many problems; the shower did not close properly and leaked water, the sink faucet was not fitted correctly and wobbled when used, and when flushing the toilet, water spilled from the bowl because the lid was not placed correctly. It was half-finished!

Top the remote!

Very convenient remote check-in and opening the doors of the accommodation always remotely. In the center of Ortigia and in a historic building. All new and clean. There are buts: when you book, among the services, is indicated the parking that is not there because you are in the middle of Ztl and you have to park far away and make it on foot; balconies communicating between rooms, the corridor used as a breakfast room with a full refrigerator and it was not understood if you could take advantage of what inside beyond breakfast time, the room lacked the fridge, so you have to use the common one and in the bathroom lacked the bidet.

Serious Issues With the Room and Staff Conduct

I stayed here recently and unfortunately the experience was far below expectations.
The room had a constant and noticeable mold/mildew smell, particularly in the bathroom. It never went away and felt unhealthy to breathe. This is a structural issue, not a cleaning issue.
Noise insulation is extremely poor. You hear everything from neighbouring rooms — conversations, snoring, phones, alarms — plus activity in the shared area. If someone makes coffee at 6 AM, everyone wakes up.
Breakfast was very basic, limited to a few pastries with no fresh options (no eggs, cheese, or fruit).
The most concerning part is what happened after I left:
After submitting a factual review on another platform, the owner sent me hostile and insulting private messages. This behaviour was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Overall, between the unhealthy smell, the lack of sound insulation, the weak breakfast, and the inappropriate communication from the owner, I cannot recommend this property.

apartment perfect owners very kind cleaning vote 10 breakfast 10 refrigerator full of sweet drinks yogurt x any taste croissants of all kinds coffee machine sweet taste , equipped with plates glass pans cutlery - beds that not even in my house I have similar mattresses bathroom with even toothpaste and toothbrushes- air-conditioned - I hope to go back - are from Bologna
