nice stay and nice location

The location is close to Sarnano. We had a 2 bedrooms flat nicely spacious. The place is surrounded by green; the view of the mountains from the swimming pool is gorgeous.
My husband had a mountain bike: there are numerous routes outside busy roads; also numerous places for shorter and longer walks.

Not recommended if you are looking for self-catering accommodation

Nothing to say about the structure, which is certainly nice, even if in a semi-industrial area, but the total lack of customer orientation, even just in small things, left us extremely disappointed with the service, for example:
the TV, although visible in the photos, was not present.
They provide the use of the kitchen but without practically everything, utensils (1 pan, mismatched and battered plates/cutlery/cups/glasses), worn and dangerous kitchen stoves that easily leak gas, electrical socket with a hole instead of a button, light bulbs blinding both in the kitchen and in the bedroom, non-existent coffee machine, not even a bit of salt, not to mention oil and vinegar..
Totally inadequate lighting: blinding light bulbs both in the kitchen and in the bedroom, lack of shutters resulting in light in the room from early morning, not to mention the bed: swaying bed base, decidedly uncomfortable mattress and pillows...
All this in the face of an economic request that is absolutely not in line with the "services" offered

" Home from Home with a difference."

We were " Teremotati " ( earthquake victims ) in August and September and still are. We stayed in Antica Dimora and felt it was an answer to prayer. These apartments are a short distance from Sarnano and set against a most wonderful backdrop of the Sibillini mountains, you feel as though you can stretch out and touch the massive mountain range. The huge grounds of Antica Dimora offer you great isolation but with every convenience and comfort available, including an enormous swimming pool. The owner Brunella assisted by Sandra were wonderful, welcoming , friendly and accomodating. We look forward to seeing the amazing wildlife pond next week ( end of October) when we return and the well looked after cats! There are advantages to being there too in the off peak season of Autumn.

Excellent value in Le Marché

Antica Dimora is a comfortable set of apartments between the lovely towns of San Ginesio and Sarnano with a view of the Sibillini mountains. The complex is clearly popular with Italians and is an excellent bade for exploring the joys of the Sibillini National Park.
You get a basic breakfast tray in the self-catering kitchen but Brunella, the owner, went to extra trouble for us as regular guests when we had a late arrival, and stocked our refrigerator.
Antica Dimora's guest rates are extremely good value and the welcome is warm and hospitable.
We recommend it very highly.

A really unusual stay

the room in a recently refurbished and very clean complex made from an old country house was certainly very unusual.
The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, just it is in a rather desolate place, near a sand quarry with a rather beautiful view of the mountains.
The most unusual aspect is the breakfast, which consists of a coffee machine and some coffee capsules and a few biscuits. Poor even by continental standards.
