Strong point, huge room!

We arrived at this hotel thanks to word of mouth from those who had been to the adjacent resort. The hotel formula convinces us much more than the resort, and in fact, we are not disappointed by it. Reception staff, always very courteous and helpful. Room without a sea view but huge! Very comfortable, cool, and above all spacious. Abundant and rich breakfast, both in the savory and sweet sections. We had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant and were not disappointed, but the menu, as the days go by, remains more or less the same, so if we had had to eat there every night... it would have been too repetitive. Hotel location, a bit elevated and far from the center. Free parking but quite inconvenient, as is the road to get to the reception, all uphill! Aside from the location of the property, which is not exactly convenient, we highly recommend it.

Siamo davvero felici che abbiate apprezzato la cordialità del nostro staff, l'ampiezza della camera, la ricca colazione e la qualità della cena. Ci fa inoltre piacere sapere che il passaparola vi abbia portato a scegliere la nostra struttura.
Per quanto riguarda il menù del ristorante, proponiamo ogni giorno diverse alternative, pur mantenendo alcuni piatti della tradizione siciliana particolarmente apprezzati dai nostri ospiti.
Relativamente alla posizione, è vero che l'hotel si trova in una zona leggermente rialzata, ma dista appena 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di San Vito Lo Capo e dalla spiaggia. Questa breve salita è ampiamente ripagata da uno dei panorami più belli del paese, uno degli aspetti più apprezzati dai nostri ospiti.
Grazie ancora per averci consigliato. Speriamo di potervi accogliere nuovamente per un'altra piacevole vacanza.

Wait for the renovations before going there!

A 70s hotel that needs a serious refresh (we learned that it was just bought this year for renovation); lots of potential because the view from the rooms with a terrace is very pleasant. The beds are okay, but the AC is weak and makes the noise of a plane taking off (don't try to sleep without it in the summer, you'll sweat buckets, we tested it); 60s bathroom, clean but not inviting. Industrial breakfast buffet, large but all industrial products. In short, wait a few years before going there. Special mention for the very friendly staff, especially the maintenance person who brought our luggage up because there are 5 flights of stairs from the parking lot

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are pleased that you appreciated the beautiful views from our terraces and, above all, the kindness and helpfulness of our staff.
We would, however, like to clarify one point: Hotel Panoramic has not been purchased, but is under the management of our group. Since taking over the management, we have already made significant investments and carried out several improvements and upgrades throughout the property, with further renovation works already planned. Our goal is to progressively enhance the hotel and its great potential, continuing to invest year after year.
We were also sorry to read your description of our breakfast as “industrial”, as this does not reflect what we actually offer. Our buffet includes a wide selection of sweet and savoury options, fresh fruit, local products, as well as several items prepared directly by our kitchen.
Regarding the air conditioning, had the issue been reported to us during your stay, our maintenance team would have intervened immediately to inspect and resolve it.
Finally, we are very pleased that you appreciated our staff and the assistance provided with your luggage. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and allow you to experience first-hand the improvements already made and those still to come.

In Sicily, one should eat better!

Good hotel
Abundant and varied breakfasts
Terrible dinners, pasta every night, sometimes overcooked. Insufficient quantities, the swordfish was not enough for everyone, 2 miserable bites of eggplant, pineapple in transparent slices, side dishes of 2 arugula leaves
Non-existent Sicilian specialties..... A disappointment!

Ci dispiace leggere che la cena non abbia soddisfatto le sue aspettative. Ci teniamo però a precisare che ogni sera il nostro ristorante propone un menù con 3-4 scelte per ogni portata, preparato con ingredienti freschi e porzioni studiate per garantire un servizio equilibrato a tutti gli ospiti. Qualora una pietanza termini per l'elevata richiesta, il nostro personale è sempre disponibile a proporre un'alternativa di pari qualità.
Per quanto riguarda la cucina siciliana, durante la settimana proponiamo numerose specialità tipiche del territorio, dai primi ai secondi fino ai dolci, cercando di offrire un equilibrio tra tradizione locale e piatti della cucina italiana, così da soddisfare una clientela internazionale.
Siamo comunque grati per le sue osservazioni, che prenderemo in considerazione per continuare a migliorare il nostro servizio.

A gem of the Northwest of Sicily in a comfortable hotel.

After 16 years on our tour in Sicily, we returned to the Panoramic. We had booked half board and were pleased with what was offered to us this time as a restaurant. The sea-view rooms have a nice view and a livable terrace. It's a pity they have small internal areas with basic equipment. Fairly central location with attached parking.

la ringraziamo di cuore per aver scelto nuovamente Hotel Panoramic dopo ben 16 anni. Siamo una nuova gestione e, dal nostro insediamento, stiamo investendo costantemente nella struttura e nei servizi per offrire un'esperienza di livello agli ospiti.
Siamo felici che abbiate apprezzato la nostra proposta di mezza pensione, la splendida vista delle camere sul mare, il terrazzino, la posizione della struttura e il comodo parcheggio.
Per quanto riguarda gli spazi interni e gli arredi, alcune tipologie di camere presentano caratteristiche differenti rispetto alle categorie superiori. Per un futuro soggiorno saremo lieti di consigliarvi la soluzione più adatta alle vostre esigenze.
Speriamo di avere il piacere di accogliervi nuovamente presto a San Vito Lo Capo.

Hotel Panorama has a good location within walking distance of town, which made it easy to explore the area. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, and unfortunately I was given a room on the lowest level, so the sea view was not quite as spectacular as I had hoped for.
There are also quite a lot of stairs, which can be a bit inconvenient if you are travelling with heavy luggage.
That said, I still enjoyed my stay overall.
