One of the best in Rome

The room was very nice, clean and tidy, and you'll find everything you need.
The breakfast is fantastic especially if you ask for proper Italian coffee
Mr Voltet (the owner) is the best, he is such a great guy, he gave us all the information we need and gave us the map of rome and tell us where to go and when. He even take us to the airport for a very decent price.
The location is fine with some good restaurants, and the metro station is almost 5 minutes walk and few stops to the center.
The experience with Light of rome made our 3 days trip to Rome the best ever Thank you very much

Recommended

If you like things easy, non complicated and no stress, this is the right place. Valter and his wife always smiling giving you the good feeling of vacation morning while serving an awesome breakfast. If I ever go back to visit Rome, this will definitely be where I will stay.

For A Great Unique Italian Experience

Staying here was more personal than staying at a hotel, certainly a lot cheaper and included a fabulous breakfast. Seven metro stops from Termini, this unit, owned by Nelly and Valter, a lovely, friendly couple, is very clean, has been separated into three self contained areas, with a good sized room, containing two separate single beds (or double if you prefer), a table with chairs and a tv. There was a bathroom attached (take your own toiletries) and this area had a door, which we could lock and were given the keys to the complex, unit and to our area. We were allowed to make a drink in the kitchen, though not cook. Valter was so friendly and helpful and gave us advice on where to go, including advising us to eat at Osteria I Maccheroncini, which was on the next block at No 93. What a bonus this was. I had the most reasonably priced and best meal I’ve ever had in my life at this fabulous little restaurant – I’ve done a separate review on this. I loved our few days staying here, thanks to Valter and his lovely wife!

Wonderful Stay!

My time spent at Light of Rome B&B was more than I could have hoped. Not only was the B&B quiet, clean, and well kept, but Valter and his wife were the kindest hosts I could have asked for. Valter made sure I had all the information I needed or wanted for sights to see, city passes, public transportation, museums, and great restaurants to eat at.
As I was traveling alone, Valter and his wife also generously invited me out with them one night to enjoy a night of food and friends. As I was in Rome to take a test for my school entrance application, Valter also dropped me off AND picked me up after my testing to make sure I didn't have to worry about taking the bus and getting to the testing site on time.
Overall, staying at Light of Rome B&B was a delightful and relaxing time. Close to the metro and easy to access public transportation to move around the city, my stay was very enjoyable. Valter and his wife showed me nothing but kindness and hospitality!

A gem of a B&B

This little B&B, inside a large, traditional apartment block in a quiet part of Rome, is a genuine delight. It offers three rooms, each thoughtfully, elegantly and comfortably furnished.
The hosts, Nelly and Walter, are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is abundant and fresh.
Altogether an excellent, reasonably priced option for a stay in "real" Rome, also offering quick and easy transport to the centre by Metro. Highly recommended.
