It is not your typical Rome city center hotel. It is located across the river. The neighborhood is a little scratchy, e.g a homeless person sleeping in a tent on the street by the hotel front door. Lots of graffiti on the walls in the neighborhood. The rooms and bathrooms are small dark and musky. On the bright side the staff is helping and responsive. You can still find good restaurants in walking distance.

Very nice hotel with amazing staff yet the rooms are outdated

I enjoyed my stay in this very unique establishment. The location is perfect for getting to know Trastevere. The staff were incredible!! Very good breakfast. The patio is absolutely charming.
Yet the rooms themselves are the weak spot. The one I reserved was so dark and small. With a view to the garbage…I was given an upgrade. As I mentioned, great staff. The new room was nice with a window to the patio.
But…
Very weak water pressure. To me this is unacceptable if you pay 300 Euros per night. Very inconvenient toilet and shower. So this was disappointing.

We only stayed one night in Rome so therefore only one night in the hotel. This hotel was walking distance to some very nice restaurants in the lively neighborhood of Trastevere. It was a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. The hotel room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. I was not a fan of the key less entry because I had to log in to my email to use it every time. Otherwise, everything was fine.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Really a nice place to stay, conveniently located near the bus/tram stop and taxi stand. Spacious and clean room (ours had a beautiful terrace), breakfast with fresh produce and really nice and prepared staff: we will gladly return!
