Ideal for visiting Rome

Very good stay at this hotel that we already knew
Chosen for its location, 10 minutes from Termini station and the main activities can be done on foot, otherwise the Repubblica metro is also 10 minutes away
Surrounded by good restaurants, an ice cream parlor, or a convenience store
Very good welcome, smiling staff
Clean room, with air conditioning and a refrigerator. Which is very convenient for keeping your water bottles cool. Impeccable bathroom. We would have liked extra storage, there were 3 of us.
Hearty and well-stocked breakfast for 8 euros: sweet, savory, with cakes and fresh fruit and good coffee.
2 points to note:
-not suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs to access the hotel and inside, many steps
- and to benefit from the best rate, we are asked to pay in cash. Good value for money

Great Family Friendly Hotel

Hotel Lirico was extremely clean, in a safe neighborhood, close to Roma Termini and attractions. Rooms were better in person than pictured.
Pros:
- Location (walkable from Roma Termini and tourist attractions)
- Clean hotel, updated bathrooms
- Safe neighborhood
- Great value (did have to pay cash for the discounted price)
- Luggage hold available
- Excellent breakfast for the price (barista to make cappuccino included!)
- Friendly and helpful staff

Nice little hotel

This hotel is a little gem. Placed centrally and near to railway station. Its entrance and reception do mot do it justice. The staff are very helpful , the room was very clean and well furnished with kettle etc. Breakfast continental with lovely coffee and a nice selection. They were accommodating with my gluten & dairy intolerance. My only negative was the large flight of steps on entry.

Central location to explore Rome

This hotel is perfect for a long weekend in Rome. Me and my husband did a Friday to Monday trip, and spent our time out sightseeing, so spent most of our daytime away from the hotel. When booking, we were looking for a “base camp” that was central to everything. This did not disappoint.
We arrived by train from the airport and the hotel is a short 10 minute walk from Rome Termini station. The hotel is very clean and staff very friendly. We went up to our room and it was exactly what we expected for a European hotel. It was clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was modern and the windows opened to allow in some fresh air. The room also had very good air conditioning.
We did not eat any meals here, so cannot comment on the food, as we ate out every day.
Overall, a really great location and comfy place to sleep, with a supermarket just over the road, lots of bars and restaurants around, and around 20-30 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and Pantheon, with easy access to Metro for further exploring!

The rooms, while a bit dated in decor, were clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the Rome Termini bus and train station. The front desk staff was helpful. Would stay there again.
