Hotel Acerboli

We stayed one night, hotel a bit dated but equipped with everything necessary. The staff very kind and welcoming, room very clean and breakfast super abundant. Excellent location, close to the beach. Thanks for the availability.

Nightmare hotel

I strongly advise anyone against taking a room in this "hotel." The cleanliness was nonexistent, with evident mold both in smell and appearance. Mattress with springs that broke your back. Unacceptable shower over the toilet in 2026. In the lobby, the sofas are in terrible condition. I must preface that the room was paid for at 160€ for 2 people without a tourist tax, without breakfast, just for the overnight stay.

Avoid like the plaque

0/5 – HORRENDOUS. THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD
I genuinely cannot understand how Hotel Acerboli in Rimini is being sold to holidaymakers. Our experience was absolutely horrendous from beginning to end.
The hotel was filthy, extremely dated and in a shocking state of disrepair. Our room was dirty and unbearably hot, the air conditioning was inadequate, the shutter was broken, the bathroom was unacceptable and the overall standard was nothing like what we believed we had booked.
We complained immediately and were shown another supposedly alternative/upgraded room. It was just as bad. This wasn’t one unfortunate room – from what we personally saw, the condition of the hotel generally was extremely poor.
The whole experience completely ruined our time in Rimini. Instead of enjoying our holiday, we spent hours taking photographs, complaining, contacting our travel company and trying desperately to get moved.
Eventually we could not tolerate it any longer. We booked alternative accommodation ourselves and paid €400 for just one night at another hotel. The difference was astonishing – clean, modern, comfortable and actually somewhere you would want to spend your holiday.
What makes me particularly angry is that people save and look forward to their holidays. Nobody should arrive expecting a pleasant holiday hotel and be faced with the conditions we experienced.
I have extensive photographic evidence of the room and hotel from our stay, so this review is not based on appearances online – it is based on what we personally experienced.
Absolutely horrendous. I would never return and, based on our experience, I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

TERRIBLE

If you are desperately looking for a hotel, sleep in your car!! dirty, old, and the bathroom in particular was broken and on the verge of violating hygiene standards. The person who greets you is not empathetic and not professional. Before arriving, I called twice, speaking with different people, pointing out that I have two small dogs (and that means under 10kg). Upon my arrival, one of my dogs dared to bark (dogs bark), and I was advised to find somewhere else, but after 5 hours on the highway in the sun, I had no intention of doing so, and besides, I only had to stay for 1 night, so I was allowed to stay, but it was very unpleasant. I will definitely never set foot there again

I would say decent, but I wouldn't return.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my daughter and a friend of mine with her 2 children. If you are looking for a room to sleep in, it is fine for the price we paid. Unfortunately, if you are unlucky enough to get a room near the elevator, as I did, the noise is very annoying, but you can survive. The rooms are old, but the beds are very comfortable, decent cleanliness, towels changed every day, and the shower barely runs, so it is a bit tiring to take a quick shower. The air conditioning is excellent, the location is good, but it is a nightmare to find parking, costing between 10 and 15 euros a day. Unfortunately, we had the great misfortune that our children, aged 13, 6, and 8, got stuck in the elevator for over an hour. The staff did not know how to handle the situation at all, and we had to call the fire department to get them out. It was a very stressful situation, but it all ended well. In conclusion, if you are just looking for a room to sleep in without spending too much, this is the right place. If you want something more, do not go to this hotel; in my opinion, it does not deserve 3 stars, at most 2.
