Great time out at La Riana
The Hotel is beautifully furbished with furniture and artwork from Bali which makes a real big difference to other hotels. The room with its bathroom was spacious and absolutely clean. So was everything in the Hotel. The view from our room (same with all double bedded rooms) is overlooking the whole valley down to the very Riviera and therewith nothing short of absolutely spectacular. The view is not even disturbed by the otherwise ubiquitous large greenhouses. Up the valley the air quality is much better than down at the Riviera and has much less mosquitoes. The sleep quality is superb. With the fresh air of the mountains there is no need for air conditioning.
The owner is an outstanding professional cook who not only tries to prepare all and everything from scratch and fresh, he is also very familiar with the nutritional values of everything and can also cook vegan with pleasure, if so desired. We had one night pasta with the typical savors of the Ligurian region and the other night a barbecue was prepared which made us stay in the Hotel rather than looking for another restaurant. It was no mistake.
The atmosphere is that of a family place. The son is also a cook (trained in one of Frankfurt's best restaurants), the wife and daughter do a very good job in the service. One feels really at home.
My wife and I will be there again soon. I will try to come with my colleagues in off season for our next office outing. With 10 rooms, excellent food, excellent hotel and spectacular views the La Riana will be an inspiration for all of us.

Super accueil
Petit déjeuner avec un super rapport qualité prix à ne pas manquer . Dommage qu’il n’y a pas de service de restauration actuellement le soir ..mais dans le village un super bar à vin ( conseiller par Jörg !) Nous conseillons vivement d’y faire une halte avec repos garantie !
