Alfonso made our trip!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! It was a beautiful setting in the countryside so it was very peaceful, in a fabulous old building which has been renovated to be modern, but you still have the rustic feel. It never felt too busy around the pool and the sun beds were comfortable and well looked after. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with everything you might need. You can get a taxi to Ostuni easily and the breakfast that was included was really nice. The service was great, and a special mention for Alfonso who made our stay so incredible. His service was outstanding, he was so knowledgable and gave us a wine tasting where I have never learnt so much about wine! He was a lovely man, always knew the right wine for our meals and made our trip memorable. The food itself was incredible, although more expensive than other places (worth it though). I could not recommend this place enough and we will be back!

Stunning Masseria

This is my second time staying at Masseria Santo Scalone, and it remains one of the most stunning places I’ve ever visited. Everything is perfectly maintained, every detail thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere is so serene that you feel at peace the moment you arrive. I don’t think I’ve ever been as relaxed as I am at this masseria.
The breakfast is exceptional — delicious, varied, and clearly prepared with care. Our room this time, a junior suite on the ground floor, was beautiful, spotless, and filled with charming details that made the stay feel truly special.
It’s absolutely worth spending a few days here, especially if you want a calm and luxurious base while exploring the beautiful surroundings of Ostuni and the nearby towns. Don’t miss this place.

Curtains in room did not block out light so we didn’t sleep very well.
Apart from that all was very good. Lovely heated pool area and excellent staff, particularly Dino in the restaurant went over and above to help. Food was excellent and all home made.

The property was absolutely stunning, and the entire masseria felt like stepping into a magazine spread. The spaces were beautifully designed—the pool, which we didn't get to try out because it was still a bit chilly. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic; you could order eggs and coffee, and they paid attention to the small details as you sat at the table. The service was truly lovely, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
