Beautiful

What a spectacular place!
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights as the final stop in our Sicily trip and we were saving the best till last…this countryside sanctuary was faultless. The food was incredible and entirely home made and fresh, we were so impressed by the breakfast options with daily specials and they had lunch and dinner options too.
The setting with the infinity pool among the olive trees was the most relaxing place ever! Gorgeous interior decoration too. Would definitely return! And only a short drive to Noto.

A true genuine find...the best, most exquisite experience in Sicily...every detail was perfect

This was truly one of the best experiences ever. The hotel is beautiful, our room with the terrace was huge with an enormous terrace, fabulous bathroom and closet, So incredibly comfortable . The hotel Combines the old with the new, from the arrival and looking at the absolutely beautiful but still natural environment one attains a peaceful feeling. The breakfast was probably the best I have had anywhere due to the variety of interesting dishes and the high quality of the food. Also, The dishes are quite unique and it was fun to experience so many different ones. I especially liked the fish. I don't often eat lunch or dinner at a hotel, but this was an exception since the food was of such a very high quality. My previous hotel was three times the cost for a much smaller room and terrace and the breakfast food was nowhere near the quality here. The service is incredible, whatever you ask is kindly given. The dog, Liam and cat, mondorlo add to the experience without bothering you. I wish every hotel experience was this wonderful. This one exceeded all expectations. Noto is a charming town close by and we drove to Ortiga , part of Syracuse ,which I happened to like the best.

A place of tranquillity with lots of charm - and a few little things to know

We spent a wonderful week at Battimandorlo - a stylishly designed retreat in the middle of the hills near Noto. The atmosphere is calm and slowing, ideal for switching off. We would particularly like to highlight Marica, Sofia and Catalina - they are the good souls of the house: always friendly, warm and helpful. Their professionalism and kindness have made our stay special.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and pleasantly air-conditioned. However, the floor was not vacuumed during our seven days - maybe this only happens when changing guests. The private terrace was a highlight, but unfortunately only covered with a bamboo roof - in rain (or after) it is not usable. Nevertheless, a beautiful place to end the day in fine weather.
Breakfast à la carte is a successful concept - fresh, regional and high quality. Especially the homemade bread has inspired us - even us, as bread lovers from Switzerland!
A little note on how to get there: The last stretch to the hotel is an unpaved dirt road with potholes - those who drive a lowered vehicle should be careful accordingly. And in autumn it is recommended to bring a jacket in the evening - it can be surprisingly cool.
All in all, a thoughtful, lovingly run boutique hotel with high recreational value. We would come back - with a bit more robust car and weatherproof clothing.

Beautiful hotel

A dream place, the place surrounded by nature, the beautiful infinity pool , the suite with the beautiful terrace with unobstructed views of nature. Only downside: the restaurant not up to the standard of the establishment.

A memorable experience

A wonderful experience!
A very welcoming host, nice and always ready to help. You can feel passion in everything he does.
The decoration of the rooms and common areas is splendid, cared for in every detail.
The swimming pool and the idyllic setting invite you to relax, in the heart of a splendid nature, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards.
I highly recommend this place to those who want to bask and enjoy swimming: the infinity pool is of remarkable beauty, both in its dimensions and in its design.
I will definitely return during my next stay in Sicily
