Great value for money

B&B in the heart of Nardò, located in a very charming historic building.
The Queen room is very nice, cool thanks to the double walls, and the quality of sleep is excellent. Unfortunately, we did not use the hot tub, but it is definitely a plus (even though it seemed a bit small to us). Breakfast with packaged products and a good brand coffee to prepare with the machine. The location is optimal for visiting the center of Nardò, and parking can be found quite easily in the surroundings (as long as you are willing to walk a bit).
The bathroom is a bit cramped and poorly ventilated, but all in all, it is quite usable; the reservation and management system, which takes place entirely in a virtual environment, is somewhat surprising.
Overall, excellent value for money (at least for the Queen room).

Not to be repeated

To say that cleanliness leaves something to be desired is an understatement... We stayed one night and found hair on the sheets on both sides of the bed, also we refused to use the hot tub because there was hair and long hair there too, as you can well see in the attached photos. The fixtures are
so subtle that it seemed to have passers-by directly in the room, you could clearly hear the footsteps and voices of anyone walking down the street. We absolutely do not recommend it... definitely negative experience...

Comfort and strategic location with some limits, ideal for young couples

I stayed at B&B Me Palace in Nardò for a week and the experience was overall very positive. The room was spacious and well maintained, equipped with a fully functional sauna and hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a day around Salento. The kitchen, although simple, is equipped with everything you need: perfect for a holiday where you prefer to eat out in the evening and enjoy the area during the day.
The location of the B&B is strategic: Nardò is a great starting point to explore many of the area's most beautiful locations, all reachable in about 15-20 minutes by car. The only drawback, to keep in mind, is the ZTL zone: parking can be a bit uncomfortable, especially if you arrive with lots of luggage.
A few small details that could be improved: there was no pan in the kitchen (which would have been useful), the hot tub emitted a slight sulfur smell in the first few minutes of use, and the shower tended to flood the bathroom. This last problem was partially solved thanks to the availability of the hosts, who provided us with a mop.
Ultimately, if you are a guy or couple who love this kind of experience – relaxation, comfort and freedom to explore – I highly recommend it. With a few extra precautions it would have been a full 5 star!
