beautiful nostalgic accommodation with authentic elements.

Very nice rural accommodation.
Beautiful surroundings.
By closing the shutters during the day, missing air conditioning was not a problem.
Access road was a challenge the 1st time. Fortunately found another way. Swimming pool nice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies (flies) at the pool. But what was nice was that each apartment had its own place with sunbeds by the pool.
Martina can cook very well and Andreas is a nice host. They are very easy to get along with.

Umbria’s best kept secret

We stayed at L’ariete for 12 days this summer and all we can say is wow. We loved every minute of our stay. Andreas and Martina are the perfect hosts, making lots of effort with our children and answering any questions we had helpfully. We made some fab friends and spent many a night enjoying Martinas home made meals and drinking local wine,beers and cocktails in the most beautiful courtyard. The swimming pool was fab for lazy afternoons sunbathing and just relaxing in the grounds. Montone is a idyllic little village with many restaurants to enjoy as well as sitting down with a drink in Cafe Aries in the square people watching and letting the children run free in a safe environment. Overall we couldn’t of asked for a better location and accommodation for our Umbria escape. Thank you Andreas and Martina xx

Magical stay

We stayed with Andreas and Martine for a week in August and have raved about this heavenly place ever since we got back! The accommodation, pool, grounds and the evening meals are outstanding, our daughters made some great friends as did we. The hosts have created something special here and if you're looking for a place away from the crowds in glorious countryside this is it , oh and Montone is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Dreamplace in Umbria

We stayed for two weeks at this fantastic place. What an authentic location! Martina & Andreas are really warm hosts putting everything in place to deliver an unforgettable time for their guests.

A very special place off the beaten track.

Set in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by lush nature, l'Ariete is a gorgeous old farm house that has been nicely renovated. Opening the window in the morning and waking up to the sound of all those birds singing, makes you feel you are sleeping in a tree house. The grounds are nicely kept and contains a lot of aromatic plants, ideal to experiment with Italian cooking. There is also a charming little restaurant in the farm house basement. The huge swimming pool is also a real bonus. L'Ariete has a different vibe, somehow a bit bohemian and laid back, the owner Andreas is a really welcoming a chill host. It was hard to leave this place as we really felt at home and came out completely relaxed from our 4 days week-end.
