Delightful cosy and friendly

It is a slog up the stairs but my room had an amazing view. The host speaks excellent English and was very congenial, sharing a bottle of wine and giving the best advice on where to go and the best restaurants (Danilo's is a must). If it's open when you are there, visit the food market next door.

After the booking, I missed to ck my emails and arriving at 14.00, the host told me that he can ckin us only 15.00 onwards, as in the message. I asked him to leave only the luggage and he refused telling me that the person in charge came only at 15.00. At 15.00, the person in charge (it was himself), told us that he live in the apartment next floor! :)
The room was big but very old. The pillow and matress linen smell as used. I beleive they have been changed, but the pillow and matress its self was not cleaned in the last months. They provide towells that smells as old. Probablt the storage is old. The room have a private bathroom but not close to the room. You have to cross a hallway between
main room and kitchen and find the bathroom. So, imagine if you need to pee at 4 am... and meet the other guest on the way.
In the kitchen you have all you need, cleaned, but have to clean it by yourself before and after. The carpets on the entrance hall are old and dusty, as most furniture in the room.
We paid 4 eur local tax, but no receipt.
The big plus is position. Bathroom was tiny but clean, except the water presure, is ok.
At ckout, we rest a bit after the morning city walk and considering our shuttle was 11.40, we stay 10 min more than 11.00, we were 100% set to leave, when the room door was opened by the hwellcomeingost without knocking.
Respect for the old people, but they are not .

Staff didn't care about health conditions during extremely high heat

This hotel does not have air conditioning which is terrible in the summer when it gets to over 25-26C. We could not stay there in such heat due to health. I tried calling a day before and asked to cancel the reservation. Since it was last minute, I offered to pay a portion of reservation but the person on the phone was very rood and not understanding. He said he didn't care and it was much choice if I come or not but he wasn't going to help.

Eccellente posizione

Al secondo piano di un palazzo in pieno centro l'appartamento ha tre stanze,il bagno è fuori stanza e c'è la possibilità di usare la cucina ben attrezzata. Il proprietario è molto gentile e prodigo di consigli, il wifi efficente e mappamondi in ogni angolo. Non c'è la tv ma Modena invita a star fuori : la posizione di questa struttura è eccellente!!! A due passi dal Duomo ed a fianco del Mercato Albinelli. In zona ztl ,si raggiunge in un quarto d'ora a piedi dalla stazione.

Tranquilla e comoda

Si tratta di un appartamento con poche stanze, proprio nel centro di Modena. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile. I letti erano comodissimi e la stanza molto pulita. In dotazione avevamo anche dei tappi per orecchie, ma non ne abbiamo avuto assolutamente bisogno, vista la tranquillità della zona. Unica pecca, trovandosi in ZTL abbiamo dovuto parcheggiate a 10 minuti dalla casa in un parcheggio gratuito consigliatoci dal proprietario. Ma prenoterei sicuramente di nuovo
