Excellent Service!!!

We got our money's worth at Milano Hostel. Accessible to everything you might just need- public transportations, restos, parks, convenience stores, pharmacies, even a laundromat, you name it! Great ambiance and superb customer service, kuddos to Mr. Dangreg Maala! Will definitely recommend!

Awful don’t go

I’ve been travelling Europe for 1 month now and this is the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. I originally booked a female dorm and a mixed dorm for my friend as I don’t feel comfortable sharing with other males from past experience. When I checked in they put us in a mixed dorm on a double bed and the rooms did not lock from the outside, only the inside but I was unable to lock the door as people were still checking in until 2.30am, which disrupted my sleep, and made me feel very unsafe. There was also no where to lock our things away so our bags were left unattended during the day as the room did not lock and there was no lockers provided, although on the pictures of the hostel it shows cages under the beds which can be padlocked. The bathroom also didn’t close or lock as the hinges on the door weren’t fitted properly, which made me feel very unsafe being unclothed in the shower. The morning of the 23rd when me and my friend were leaving and we got stopped and told our room had changed. After expressing my opinion to not want to move rooms as all our belongings was in that room and I didn’t want to move to another mixed room (which I was uncomfortable with in the first place) we got given no explanation as to why we had to move, we just got told we had to move our bags to another storage room, which didn’t lock. We had a train scheduled that day which we missed due to the moving of our bags. When we arrived later on that day we were then told our room hadn’t changed and we could put our bags back, so we had wasted time moving our bags in the morning and missed our train for nothing. At 23:30 that night I received and email that our booking had been cancelled due to a “no show” so I don’t understand why they inputted this onto their system. I have read other reviews saying they do this so you can’t leave a review on Hostelworld or so they can charge you more. I showed the staff this email and he didn’t give an explanation once again. I was also appalled by the lack of cleanliness as there were holes in the bedding due to moths.
Would not recommend to anyone.

My bed was occupied by someone

The reception is open all night long. The position is good. The bathroom was clean but it did not have ventilation nor windows. At the same time, when i arrived to my room, somebody was already occupying my bed. I had to change the room in the middle of the night. the luggage storage room is dirty, avoid it. The breakfast room closes at nine.

Location Great, But Rooms Dirty!!! Breakfast Really Bad!

I don’t Expect a lot from a quite cheap hostel, but this was horrible! We had a 3-bed-room with our own bathroom. The walls were almost black from dirt and Shoes. The bed was Not made, there were no curtains But old blankets on the Windows!!!
The breakfast was a coffee and about 2 biscuits and one (Not Fresh) croissant. If u wanted another coffee or biscuit, You had to pay.
The Location was Great, Not gar from everything and the Garden was really nice.
