The Good: Room was large and very cool -- high ceilings, great bathroom, ample room for bags and work desk space, large windows. Location is great -- easy walking to 2-3 hip neighborhoods, on a main street for easy arrival and departure logistics, near several neighborhoods for great nightlife away from touristy central plazas. Restaurant and Bar on-site are *very* cool -- the Doping Bar in particular is a place I would gladly take friends or spend a cocktails night out in the future, even if I weren't staying there. Service Staff is excellent -- friendly, helpful, multi-lingual.
The Less Good (i.e. reasons I give it 4-stars instead of 5): Relatively loud -- rooms have somewhat poor sound insulation between them, and the street noise from sirens and motorbikes is pretty prominent at night. Light sleepers would have a hard time some nights. Security -- the property is pretty much wide open, day and night, since guest rooms can easily be accessed via passageways and stairs that are open all of the time via the restaurant and bar areas. Our room door lock was weak and I was able to push the door open once accidentally.

It gives a feeling of of all inclusive resit even though it’s in a city. Guests are allowed to walk anywhere and anytime. The staff are very polite and friendly. They are all very helpful and alway willing to help to accommodate when being asked something rather than just replying not possible and stick to the formal rule (which is very common in other hotels).

Once inside, it's a maze of interestingly-decorated lounge and restaurant spaces, which one must navigate to reach the elevator to your room.
The hotel staff was outstanding in every regard, with a special shout-out to the helpful ladies at the front desk and the friendly servers at the breakfast venue. (BTW, the daily breakfast included with the room was excellent.)
We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was really nothing more than a slightly oversized room with a large outdoor terrace. The room was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The outdoor area was nice but afforded you almost no privacy from your neighbors save for a few strategically-placed plants.
All in all, we had an enjoyable stay, but a word of caution: Take a quick look at the hotel's website and social media feed. It will give you a clear understanding of the demographic to which they try to cater—the young and/or trendy. Are you the type who enjoys a DJ spinning tunes at Sunday brunch? Do you expect your hotel to be "Instagrammable"? Do you prefer a quiet-night's sleep or a party scene? Not to judge, but these are all things to consider before booking here.

Navigli is lively with lots of places to eat and drink. Duomo is walkable in about 25 mins.
Large room with very comfortable large bed.
A couple of pieces of furniture in the room needed upgrading but these are minor points.

The hotel has an amazing bar included that was the coolest bar we went to in Milan. The room was spacious, clean, and very well decorated.
The location was incredible. About a 20ish minute walk to downtown center, but right next to Navigli canals, which we enjoyed a lot more than the touristy center of the city. Plenty of metro transportation. It’s a busy area so parking was a bit complicated, but I think anywhere in Milan will be similar.
