Go there!

Beautiful, elegant, central structure, with a splendid view of the Sassi.
Very welcoming, kind staff, excellent Ciceroni.
When I stayed, breakfast was not included, but the property is very close to a bar. However, there was a coffee machine and some snacks to be able to have a quick breakfast.

The location is convenient and walkable. There’s nice view from the window from the room. Reception is welcoming and offered me some tips. Materia is an amazing place to visit.

The particular room was a loft with low head room, not suitable for a 6' person.

Great spot at the top of the Sassi

My friends and I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights while visiting Matera. It is a very cute place, with large bedrooms and a bathroom in every room. There is a very nice patio that overlooks one of the Sassi area. It is quiet and a short walk gets you to the main Sassi area.
The place is in the Sassi, so, you cannot get there by car and there are steps down to get to it. But Lina and her family are very helpful and will come and get you, by car, and help you with luggage. You have to park at a garage that is five minutes away, if you come by car.
Breakfast is at a cafe nearby, also run by the family. You can sit outside in the open area and enjoy a view of Matera while you have a cappuccino, croissants, yogurts and cakes.
They are all very helpful and can give you some tips on places to see or restaurants to go to.
Donna LINA does not speak English though, but one of her grandsons does. She does live in the house, in a separate section.
We enjoyed this place very much and could have stained longer!

Tra cultura e relax

Tutto avviene per un motivo... dopo un anno sono riuscito a vedere Matera... tra lavoro e stress... tre giorni da Donna Lina sono stati la mia carica per affrontare di nuovo la routine quotidiana... ACCOGLIENZA E COMUNICAZIONE ECCEZIONALE...Simona ci ha accolto in maniera impeccabile ... seguendoci passo passo su tutti i movimenti consigliandoci anche parcheggi nei dintorni nel caso arrivavo in auto... non ci sono parole per la sua esperienza, gentilezza e professionalita nel fare il suo lavoro... la struttura E' stupenda me ne sono innamorato tanto che ci ritornerò ... centralissima nei sassi e super accogliente camera Alessia pulitissima sistemata e molto bella molto rilassante anche vicinissima a tutti i ben culturali della città ... terrazza panoramica in comune come il salone ... ma e totalmente bello restare in camera e tra i sassi che ci si rilassa anche stare in terrazza di sera è godersi il panorama del sasso Barisano.... luoghi di culto interessanti e tutti nelle vicinanze <... colazione ottima e gentilissimo chi mi ha servito conoscendo gia cosa gradivo... che dire più... mi spiace ma per me Matera sarà sempre Donna Lina ... mi spiace per le altre struttura VOTO 100
