The importance of reviews
I was looking for a B&B to go to Livorno and the reviews guided me towards Butterfly and I just have to confirm all the excellent reviews. The B&B is located in a very central area, a side street of Via Grande and there is everything nearby: post office, church, restaurants and pizzerias, shops of all types. The crossroads are silent. The room on the ground floor is spacious, modern and comfortable and does not require a lift which is not present. There is a shared kitchenette with a coffee machine always available, as is Matteo who is helpful and very kind and I thank him for his assistance in everything. Mrs. Lucia's cleaning is impeccable. During this period we enjoyed breakfast at the nearby Mirò pastry bar, very well stocked with everything delicious. One night we had to stay in a property opposite the same management with a lift. This one is also excellent and very clean. For the quality offered the prices are fair. I would only add that the taxi service in Livorno is very efficient, I review it here because I don't know if it is reviewed elsewhere.

Would not stay there again
Convenient location, at least for us who had to take the ferry the day after the stay. Basic room, without infamy and without praise, but clean. Some things are missing such as a garbage can, present only in the common area, so outside the room. Wifi non-existent, or at least I have not found any indications about it. Uncomfortable bed.
The property is defined as a b&b, which must therefore include bed and breakfast. Too bad breakfast is not included (unless breakfast means a coffee machine and tea bags in the common room). I explicitly asked the owner who replied 'unfortunately we do not have breakfast sorry'. I therefore suggest converting the definition of the structure from b&b to guest houses. And in the light of this downward revision of prices.

TWO NIGHTS IN LIVORNO
We spent two nights in this semi-central B&B in the ztl area of Livorno, automated entry with code provided. To reach the structure, we parked comfortably a few steps in the ACI paid parking. The assigned room Cedronella, cute with small balcony on Via San Francesco.
Upon arrival the room was cozy, but cold given the winter season temperatures, would have been appreciated a preventive switching on of the air conditioner with hot air and for this we suffered a little '.
While in the small bathroom there is a column heater with electrical outlet.
The cleanliness of the perfect room.
The Double Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
We were issued with tickets for the breakfast "a cappuccino and a sweet piece" in a nearby and pretty bakery.
If there will be occasion to return to Livorno I will definitely contact the structure that managed booking and stay excellently.
For the rate paid in quality / price ratio I recommend the structure.

A stone's throw from the port
Returning from an excursion to the island of Gordona, we stayed one night at this B&B, which is just over 5 minutes from the port of Livorno.
With a pass we were able to access the Ztl and park for free in the white stripes in front of the hotel.
The Cidronella room and the shared kitchen, located on the first floor, were clean, cozy and equipped with every comfort.
Breakfast at the nearby bar was very basic and pleasantly tasty.
The communication relationships with the owners Sara and Matteo, which took place via social and email, were very effective and friendly.

One night in Livorno
Structure in the semi-central area of Livorno, located in the Ztl area. Did not park tried. Paid parking areas nearby. Clean room but bed not very comfortable. Spacious bathroom. The B&B has a shared kitchen (I didn't use it) equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast and/or lunch - dinner.
Excellent emplacement
