Good
Very kind and helpful. Clean room, sweet and savory breakfast buffet, cold and hot drinks dispenser and more possibilities to ask for more at the bar own structure. They did us the courtesy to leave the room after check-out time and this was greatly appreciated. The location is great because facing the mud and the warm water beach.

Rudeness award
My sister and I stopped at the Rojas bar in Vulcano, attached to the hotel of the same name, and ordered two Aeolian salads. When they were brought to us, we noticed that one of the ingredients listed on the menu, the potatoes, was missing. We immediately pointed this out to the young lady serving at the tables, who reported it to the employee in the kitchen. The latter arrived leisurely and, with an arrogant air, told us that if the potatoes were not there, according to him, we must have eaten them!! Considering the rudeness and the offensive tone used, we refused the salads and paid the bill without eating. Absolutely a terrible experience to be avoided.

Beautiful experience
The location is really perfect for those who want a relaxing holiday, without giving up the opportunity to experience moments of leisure and fun.
The hotel is surrounded by greenery and surrounded by the bright colors of bougainvillea, giving from the first moment a pleasant feeling of tranquility. Located in the heart of Vulcano, it enjoys a strategic position: in a few minutes walk you can reach both the beach and the pulsating center of island life.
The structure stands out for its excellent organization and the care reserved for guests. The Welcoming is professional, and the staff has always been present, available and ready to intervene efficiently to meet every need. Special thanks also go to the cleaning ladies, always courteous and attentive. Particularly convenient is the Luggage Storage Service, both on arrival and departure, with the possibility of using the outdoor showers and the changing room even after check-out, thus allowing you to enjoy the beach until the last moment.
The room we stayed in was bright, well air-conditioned and clean. The overall environment was welcoming and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day spent between sea and walks.
If we really wanted to identify an improvable aspect, it would be the decor of the rooms and the bathroom: although functional and tidy, it has a slightly dated style compared to the rest of the structure, which instead appears cared for and attentive to detail.

Tired, dismal hotel
Dark, gloomy, tired room with the hardest and most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Tiny shower. My aircon didn’t work but was fixed on second time of asking. The owner is clearly very unwell which is very sad but the constant coughing and smoking is really off putting. The staff seem very disinterested generally. I stayed as part of a group but would not recommend this hotel from choice.

Wouldn’t stay here again
Very convenient for the ferry (5 mins walk) and beach. Beds and pillows are extraordinarily hard - I had to layer multiple blankets under the sheet to lie on and still ended up with actual bruises on my hips after 6 nights. The breakfast is adequate. The soundproofing between rooms is non-existent and so you can hear every word that is spoke in a normal voice in the rooms near yours. A shame, as it could be lovely - I had a nice balcony and the bathroom was also nice. For some customers the width of the door to the room and to the shower cubicle could be an issue as it was very narrow - much smaller than a standard door.
