This motel is conveniently located on the outskirts of Frascati and adjacent to the main Autostrada. Another helpful feature was its friendly English-speaking staff.

A pleasant discovery

Hotel equipped with all the main services: parking, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, courtesy set, television, air conditioning, etc. Spacious and quiet rooms. Breakfast was average. Cost is reasonable. In conclusion, it is acceptable.

Positives: very helpful staff, especially front desk. The maintenance person fixed my glasses when they broke.
Negatives:
This is a terrible location. Nothing is in walking distance. You can only enter/ exit the property via the tollway. It is located on the tollway with restricted access. The bed is very hard and not comfortable. Room is bare.
We paid extra for the breakfast and were not impressed.
I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Cold shower

I stayed at the Hotel Roma Sud with normal expectations, but I was very disappointed in one fundamental aspect: it is not communicated that the hot water comes from an electric water heater.
While I was in the shower, the hot water suddenly ran out, literally leaving me halfway through the shampoo. A really unpleasant and unexpected experience, especially in a structure that should guarantee basic comforts.
If I had been told earlier, I would have arranged differently. Instead, I found myself in a situation that reminded me of my grandmother’s house in the 1950s, when you had to “dose” hot water.

It's only good for overnight stays

On a pilgrimage to Rome, we stayed for the first time in this hotel a 2-3 nights. The hotel is nice, modern, well furnished. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception are friendly. The breakfast room, lunch or dinner a little small. We were a whole bus and we had to work shifts because we weren't all in. Breakfast was decent, all cakes packaged, ditto the desserts for lunch and dinner. Hard croissants. Sufficient lunch and dinner. Would recommend it for overnight stay but not for food.
