Beautiful hotel by the sea
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

4 stars... but some have lost brilliance!
I start from the positive aspects: the location of the hotel is fantastic, right in front of the beach and our room was with sea view and a balcony equipped with a table and 2 chairs.
The large, elegant and well-kept lobby, even the outdoor spaces were large, equipped with tables and chairs and the presence of an outdoor bar where you can have a cool drink looking at the sea, promotes relaxation!
Also good is the free indoor parking.
Let's move on to the aspects to improve:
our double room was very small, there was not even room for a chair! Opening the suitcase became almost an exercise in balancing, because there was no dedicated point where to place it and there was not even a chair, as already mentioned because of the small and cramped spaces, both in the bedroom and the bathroom. As you can see from the attached photos, dated furnishings and some details of the furniture and finishes — such as the door jambs or the vanity unit — show signs of wear and tear that deserve a little maintenance. The same applies to some common areas, such as the staircase, which do not convey a true 4-star image.
As for the bathroom, the dispensers were empty and there were no personal hygiene products. At reception I was told that they do not use courtesy kits, but I pointed out that basic products are not an option, but a standard for a hotel in this category. I was assured that they would refill the dispensers and, when I returned, I found a courtesy kit: a solution that was still appreciated, even if a little in contrast to what I had been told earlier by the receptionist.
Breakfast is good, but if you arrive after 8:30 the choice is very small: scrambled eggs, sandwiches, cold cuts and other preparations were finished and various foods were not replenished. In a 4-star hotel, however, the quality and variety of breakfast should not depend on the time slot, at least within official service hours.
A very positive note goes to the waiting staff, always kind, attentive and professional. Their courtesy is certainly the only true element that fully reflects the level of a 4-star hotel.
I hope these comments will be useful to improve the guest experience and I hope to be able to come back in the future to see the improvements because I would really like to return in a renovated version of the property
