Friendly, customer-oriented hotel

Comparing to other 3* hotels in Italy, Imperiale wins when it comes to customer service. All staff members (manager, reception, restaurant) extremely friendly, smiling and helpful even with non-standard requests. We stayed with a group of ~70 people for 2 nights and were really satisfied. It was a cold and rainy week of October but the rooms and water were hot what made the stay pleasant. Rooms clean, cosy and comfortable, bathroom basic but clean, towels and miniature toiletries included. Wifi free of charge at the reception area. Very positive impression and good value for the price. I can genuinely recommend this place.

You can get better, really!

Cold room, heated -after reminder- with a mere clincher (at 23.20)..
Attention to the required very rough vegetarian menu... Menu for rest group based on pasta and meat ubiquitous, scarcity of side dishes and variety (except the first evening).

Well... for school trips

Well, the cuisine it's not so bad, especially pasta is really good. Otherwise, the rooms are kinda old school but they have a charm. If you're into mustard yellow you will love it... Maybe.
In our bathroom, the windows were tiny and the shower was also a little bit funky. It's good if you have low expectations.

Disappointing

Stayed there for 3 nights with half board on a school trip. Food in general was disgusting. Breakfast consisted of stale bread, diluted fruit juice in plastic cups, croissants wrapped in plastic and two choices of cereal. Evening meal was unappetizing and cold. The hotel was generally not very clean, was dated and in need of refurbishment.

Many improves needed

Clean rooms although small,room with balcony do not have air conditioner, no buffet for dinner or lunch just a program which says which day you will eat what for starter,main and dessert. Staff are very polite but near zero knowledge of English. Bar is closed I dont know why. They are flexible in menu especially for vegan and vegis. No access to WiFi in rooms just in lobby.
