Always a pleasure

We've been coming here for years, and we always get along. Perfect cleanliness, nice and comfortable rooms. The owners always available and kind.

Herculaneum

Exceptional location near the excavations of Herculaneum within walking distance, very kind host who runs the B & B and gave us great tips where to go for dinner, delicious breakfast and well cared for the cleanliness of the room. Recommended

Very basic

Pros: cheap. Good location very near Herculaneum. Clean room. Fast WiFi
Cons: Check in was unclear and not until 5.30pm. Parking was not free had to be paid for 10 euros. Breakfast extremely basic. Uncomfortable bed and very lumpy pillows.

The best sun terrace

I love the Golden Mile, Flora is so lovely and kind and i love the outside bit, its a great place to sunbathe with sun loungers and there are lots of cats too which is a bonus!

Lovely B&B, Great base for visiting Ercolano

Just returned from a very enjoyable 2 night stay at the Golden Mile. A great location for visiting Herculaneum and only a short walk to the train station. All the staff at this family run hotel were helpfull polite and friendly. Giving us good advice on local restaurants, transport and anything else we wanted to know. Nothing was too much trouble, even ordering us a takeaway pizza to eat on the terrace on our last night. Our room was very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. A typical Italian buffet breakfast was served in the bright and sunny breakfast room.There's also a lovely terrace at the property which was a great place to sit and relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down at the end of a busy day visiting the archilogical sites. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
