It was a magical experience staying here I stayed in two rooms intentionally the two nights I stayed. One room the 1st night the Chinoiserie to enjoy the bathtub.
The second night the Leopard room to enjoy the artistic layout of the room. To my surprise it also had a nice bathtub as well. My sister and I had complimentary breakfast and it was delicious and very filling. So many varies high quality options.
The space has a way about it in how the light comes in and I even loved the slithered view from the balcony of the lake between old bricks of the neighboring estates. I felt like I was looking back in time.
How peaceful and quiet it was compared to the busy main street right by the lake. Literally just 1-2min walk to the lake. Perfectly located towards all transportation and the ferry. I will certainly come back here again 😍. My sister and I were here for a wedding and I hope to return again to explore around the lake more deeply.
Staff were so polite and helpful. There is air conditioning as we were there in August which were very useful.

Photos online set higher expectations of view, size, and atmosphere. Cold showers left us wanting better amenities. Interior decorator did amazing job. Elevators are needed for travelers on third floor with spiral stairs and heavy luggage making it a challenge.

So glad I chose this gem! The location, away from the hustle & bustle—very quiet. The room was spacious with high ceilings & a beautiful bathroom & clean. Breakfast was quite a spread! Staff were professional & friendly. Hope to return someday.

We had such a lovely stay here. Room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a great demonstration of how more is not better - we loved it. Highly recommend!

If you want to be rushed to check in, have horns blarring at you while unloading your car, if you want to lug your bags up three flights of steps with no elevator, if you like having air conditioning that continually cuts off all night long and hot water that runs out after one 5 minute shower, if you want a code that multiple people have to get into your room instead if a key, this is the place for you but it's not for me. Room was nicely decorated. Air conditioner worked a little bit the temp was set to 18°C and the temp in the room went from 24° when we arrived to 25° in the middle of the night. It was miserable. In the AM I took a shower...a quick one because both my husband and daughter needed to shower as well. When my husband got in after my less than 5 minute shower, the hot water ran out within the first minute of his shower. And let's not even discuss parking. The attendant had to get in the car with us and take us to underground, catacomb parking with lots of instructions, to be lead to a dungeon of sorts that would make anyone leary. It smelled terrible, was super dark and very hard to navigate. She only had us down for 1 night and I needed and thought I had 2, but it was a blessing because I couldn't have done two nights in this place. For $450/night plus $30 to park, I expected better. Never, ever again. Terrible hotel.
