Granciasa = TOP COURTESY VACATION

We have been spending our summer vacations at this fantastic hotel for 14 years now... saying that the staff is courteous is truly an understatement... a special thanks to Katia and Giorgia for their kindness and helpfulness... the days here fly by... it is always an immense sorrow to return home. Family half term ski holiday

We’ve just returned from our half term holiday. This was our second year at Gran Ciasa. And this time we were joined by my brother and his family. We chose to return as this hotel literally ticks all the boxes for a relaxed family ski holiday.
The hotel is very well located for kids opposite Colfosco ski school. We’ve stayed in one of the comfort family rooms which was large for four of us. One thing I would add here is the mattresses are firm so if that’s not your thing then, perhaps you could speak with the hotel. But otherwise the rooms are well appointed and house keeping do a great job each day.
The restaurant provides an excellent buffet choice at breakfast. There’s pretty much everything you’d want. And something for everyone. My 9 year old son particularly loved the giant Nutella tap and pancakes. Dinner choices are made each morning for your evening meal. And again a great choice. We were incredibly well looked after by our waiter Simone. He was so patient with our large group containing 6 children of varying ages. Big shout out to him.
The spa area after skiing is the cherry on top. It’s an amazing treat to come back to each day. And helps soothe the mind and body before you tuck into an evening entertainment and food.
You won’t be disappointed. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We’d happily come back again. And I’ve been skiing for 30 years and this is the first place I’ve wanted to return to year after year!

Dirty

It is unacceptable that a 4☆ hotel leaves the dinner tablecloth (which wasn't that great) out for breakfast too! Same stain from the evening of the beet appetizer.
Furthermore, after the SPA I return to the room and put the bathrobe on the floor to be changed the next day... instead, the staff picked up the 3 bathrobes from the floor and hung them on the bathroom radiator. I ask for an explanation and I am told that the bathrobe is washed once a week, otherwise there is an extra charge that I was not informed about upon arrival.
Terrible experience.

Value for money beyond any limit. Exceptional.

Value for money beyond any other.
Everything truly perfect.
Very attentive and welcoming ownership.
Exceptional food.
Adult area separated from children's area.
Large spa.
A not insignificant detail: water at the table is free.
It is rare for us to return to the same place, but we will have a hard time not returning here.

Gran Ciasa Great!!!❣️

We stayed at the Gran Ciasa for 8 nights on a half-board basis and we had a very good time. We thank the entire staff, the kind and friendly bartender, and the welcoming and very skilled waiters. Furthermore, a round of applause to the Chef who masterfully spoiled us with original and excellent dinners, accommodating my husband's specific needs (various allergies). The Spa areas are sophisticated and clean, with the pool and hot tub looking directly out over the wonderful peaks. Highly recommended!!! We will look to return, bye
