Very warm and enthusiastic welcome. Interiors and furnishings are of recent date, high quality and imaginative, attention to detail. Nice room with great bathroom. Attractive restaurant with delicious freshly prepared dishes. Beautiful rural setting.

Disappointing experience: little cleanliness and little privacy
Borgo Dolciano is located in a quiet location surrounded by greenery, ideal for those looking for a place to regenerate mind and body away from the chaos. The outdoor context is really pleasant and relaxing.
Unfortunately, the quality of the stay was compromised by serious shortcomings, especially regarding cleanliness. I stayed in the Canopo Junior Suite room, an accommodation that, for the asking price, I expected to be cared for in every detail. On my arrival, however, I found the floor dirty (see photo), with obvious marks probably left by previous guests and a lot of dust everywhere. I immediately reported the problem to the reception, and the staff were very kind in assuring me of an intervention. However, the situation deeply annoyed me, because despite the promise and the arrival of the cleaning lady the next day, the room remained in exactly the same condition. No improvement, the dirt was still there, as if the report had never really been taken into account. This lack of seriousness in dealing with such an obvious problem made me feel mocked and significantly affected the quality of my stay.
Another critical point: the lack of curtains on the living room windows, which directly overlook a room in front. This makes privacy virtually non-existent, and it is something that should be absolutely reviewed.
It is a property with great potential and a really relaxing outdoor environment but the cleaning service and customer care are not up to the category and the asking price.

We stayed two days in the quiet and serene village Dolciano welcomed by the kind and friendly Arianna ...
Place well located to visit the countryside and nearby villages ... the pool surrounded by greenery from true relaxation
And then a delicious cutting board at the restaurant prepared by Arianna and an unforgettable wine!
You just have to be lulled by the place...

Great village!
Found by chance browsing the various offers .. we stayed only one night, spent very well in a large double, with minibar, bathroom with shower and very comfortable bed. The structure is actually a small village, so buildings located but close to each other. We did not dine at the property but we had a very well prepared aperitif and in a renovated environment (like the whole village of the rest) with great taste and well inserted into the surrounding context.
Great and hearty breakfast with freshly prepared hot drinks.
We had a good time, moreover easily accessible from the highway is convenient for visiting the nearby villages.

330 euros lost (unfairly)
The structure in question proved to be incorrect and opaque.
On 29/3/23 I book a week's holiday from 26/7/23 to 2/08/23 by paying a deposit of € 330.
Due to serious health problems of my wife, I find myself forced to cancel holiday, arranging with the staff of the structure to issue a specular voucher to the deposit paid (In attachment Voucher).
On 4/12/2024 my wife calls asking for availability for a room... well!!! Junior suite available, they even let us choose which one we would have liked to stay in.
In short, it's done!!! Problems start when we ask to use the voucher... “the property considers the voucher to be invalid”, putting “between the lines” even its authenticity in doubt.
I hear myself say, verbatim words “We do not issue Vouchers with such an extended maturity and the person who issued it no longer works in our facility” (just make a phone call, I kept emails and WhatsApp chats held with it).
Remember: the customer is always right especially when documenting the veracity of what he claims with mail, messages and vouchers itself!!! If then your staff decides for themselves if and how to issue vouchers, well, this is your problem.
