Excellent place to stay

A great place to stay for enjoying both Cagliari and Sardegna. Spacious room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Excellent wifi, airco, fridge, tv and mood lights. Our room even had a nice little terrace to it. Additional equip and services in a comfi central area. Lovely support on any question or issue simply via whatsapp. Stylish small breakfast at luxury bakery down the road. so really an EXCELLENT place to stay.

Very unpleasant stay and rude host!

Upon our arrival we were given instructions (by our airbnb) on were to park, obviously she never stated that on the weekends (Saturday) there is the market in the morning. Us as tourists not being local would definitely not know when market days are. There was no signs indicating market days or hours. The parking in turn was a paying parking lot. Hence, indicating further that one could park. We only found out that there is the market on a Saturday morning when we found out our car got towed.
Secondly, on the instructions given by the host, she claimed breakfast is available. I had no idea that breakfast comprised of some crackers and biscuits. So please, get the definition of a breakfast right. The fridge in the room was poorly stocked with items missing from the fridge even though they were listed on the small sticker on the fridge stating prices.
When this was pointed out, the host became defensive and claimed that we should have read the information properly, especially of the parking. The following is a quote of the information she gave us on the parking lot, and I quote;
"Parking information
LuceNova is in a limited traffic area, which means that you can not park and drive inside from 15:30 to 17:00 and from 21:00 to 07:00.
We suggest to you to park outside of this area, on the following roads (5 minutes to Lucenova) :
Via Manzoni
Via Monti
Via Bacaredda
Via Da Vinci.
You can also park in the multi-parking in Via Manzoni or Via S. Alenixedda."
She kept highlighting the information she gave us, however no word "towing" can be seen in her instructions. This is the only information she gave us which regarded parking. We parked away from the restricted area mentioned above and parked precisely were she told us to. She kept insisting that I should read carefully almost insisting that I don't know how to read or something of the sort, which I think is very rude of her. Pity people visit this place, it doesn't mean because you have a small jacuzzi in the rooms it's worth visiting, mark my words. The jacuzzi was just a small highlight compared to the disastrous stay we had.
We never expected a refund or something of the sort, however the host asked for feedback on our stay there since we rated it low on booking.com and we gave her our feedback. All we got back was nonsense and that we should learn how to read! Ignorance at it's best.

4 night stay

We found this guesthouse to be ideal for our purposes. It is not staffed but there is an immediate response from the manager. In fact, he responded at all times with useful written information. The standard room is small but modern and clean. The location is excellent once you orientate which takes a while because of the narrow windy streets. It is close to the Castello, not far from the Marina, the market and the main shipping street. It is nice also to see a bit of local life away from the main tourist areas. Although quiet it feels safe at all times. Overall excellent value.

Struttura carina e romantica

Struttura molto carina e romantica. Posizione e colazione ottima. Pulizia impeccabile. Se devo trovare un pelo nell'uovo, un asciugamano era macchiato (ma capisco che può succedere). L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è che eravamo in due, c'erano due asciugamani da doccia e un solo asciugamano da viso e da ospite, questa è l'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta, per il resto veramente bello! Ci ritornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio. Inoltre, lo staff è veramente gentile.

Incantevole

Posto incantevole, curato nei minimi particolari. Perfetto per un weekend romantico nel cuore di Cagliari, a due passi dal centro. La proprietaria, Alessandra, gentilissima e attenta ad ogni dettaglio delle suites. Raccomandatissima! Ci torneremo sicuramente!
