Uninhabitable Room - Health & Safety Violation - Non-Responsive Host
I stayed at La Terrazze Suites on June 28-29, 2026. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was completely non-functional. The room temperature reached 29.6°C—exceeding Italian health code standards for habitability (28°C threshold). I have photographic evidence.
What Happened:
When I notified the property of this emergency:
They ignored my request for over one hour
They never offered any solution (repair attempt, room change, rebooking, or refund)
They sent a dismissive message: "we are looking into it"
They ceased responding and blocked my contact information
The room temperature never dropped below 29°C—I was forced to spend the entire night in an uninhabitable, dangerously hot room
Health & Safety Concern:
Prolonged exposure to 29.6°C indoor temperatures creates serious health risks. This violates Italian building codes and tourism accommodation standards.
Host Behavior:
The host was completely unprofessional and uncooperative. Rather than solving a basic infrastructure failure, they chose to ignore the problem and block communication.
Bottom Line:
This property fails to meet minimum European standards for guest accommodation. Do not risk your health or comfort here.
Complaint filed with Italian health authorities and consumer protection agencies.

Good, central and modern accommodation
The accommodation is modern and has very good beds. Large rooms and plenty of natural light.
It has no breakfast, but you get a voucher of 6 euros per person for breakfast in the cafe, which is right next to the property and is open very early. This is a very good solution. And the breakfast there is good.

Modern room in the center of Bari
Located in the center of Bari in a pedestrian street. All sights and many restaurants within walking distance.
Parking facilities nearby.
Access with code, no personal contact with the owner, but everything went very smoothly.
Receipt for breakfast at a bakery nearby.
Highly recommended!

Brand new, great location and sexy chic vibe !
Just to flag, it is in what looks to be a business / apartment building so don’t be alarmed when trying to find the location.
There isn’t a front desk, everything is done via WhatsApp but the host was very responsive.
Would recommend and stay again ;)
