An oasis of peace and relaxation!

I stayed with my family at the B&B La Gioiosa from August 10 to 13 and we were thrilled. The place is truly enchanting and is located a few steps from Assisi, reachable by car in just 5 minutes. A supermarket and the highway entrance are also a very short distance away, which makes it an excellent base for those who wish to visit both Assisi and the surrounding villages. Our room was very spacious, clean, and well-furnished: truly the best one could expect! The garden, in the center of which is a fantastic pool, is equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers, and gazebos, and is masterfully maintained by Francesco. The space where breakfast is served in the morning is also very lovely. Super! We will definitely be back!

Great breakfast, great welcome

We spent New Year's Eve with friends at this bed and breakfast. Warmly welcomed by Francis we found ourselves very well. The place is nice, clean and quiet. In the morning we found a 'great breakfast with even homemade things, which Francis was then kind enough to offer us for the trip. At this time obviously the climate does not allow you to use the outdoor spaces that invite you to return in summer or spring.

Wonderful property in the countryside a few steps from Santa Maria degli angeli

It is a b & b run by Francesco, surrounded by greenery with swimming pool, well-kept, very clean rooms, abundant breakfast, located 5 minutes drive from Santa Maria degli angeli, convenient for visiting Assisi and central Umbria

Trust and book at Francesco!

But what about... The welcome of Francis and his wife is unique, they make you feel at home!
The b & b is located in the countryside of Assisi 5 minutes from the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and 15 from the Basilica of San Francesco. We had a really huge family room, with bathrobes instead of the usual towel, a plus I would say!
The fantastic breakfast, every morning Francesco prepares a different sweet cake (marmalade tart and the sublime lemon cream one!) and also savory pie or breakfast pizza, as he says!
Another plus is the saltwater pool that leaves the skin soft and without the strong smell of chlorine! If we return to the area, Francesco and his b & b does not change!
