Authentic and charming!

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely property in Arbatax. The location is interesting—it’s situated in a neighborhood rather than a typical tourist area—which I actually appreciated. As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe, which is especially important to me.
The staff was truly next level: incredibly kind, warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. You can tell this is a family-run property, and there is an obvious sense of pride and care in the way everything is managed.
The rooms have a wonderful, authentic Italian character. This is not a sleek, modern hotel, and that is part of its charm. I especially loved having the little balcony just outside my bedroom, complete with clips for hanging clothes to dry. It was such a charming and practical Italian touch, and one of those little details that made the stay feel authentic and special.
Breakfast was beautifully organized, with a plentiful selection and something for every taste. The front desk was also exceptional and always able to offer wonderful recommendations and knowledgeable advice about places to visit, things to do, and ways to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.
Overall, I felt very well cared for during my stay. If you’re looking for a warm, authentic, family-run property with wonderful hospitality and a real sense of place, I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Wonderful vacation in an old mill.

Everything perfect, very charming property, excellent and rich breakfast... spacious rooms equipped with all comforts and we also had a beautiful little terrace adjacent to the room. Thanks to everyone, exquisite staff, a special greeting to Clorinda, we spent 2 wonderful weeks.

Excellent three-star hotel.

For the fourth year, my wife and I have returned to this hotel, and this confirms that we have always had a good experience. Il Vecchio Mulino is in an excellent location for reaching the beautiful beaches. Parking is free, and the breakfast served in the small, quiet, green courtyard is good. The rooms are quiet. Everything is always very clean. Recommended.

Enchanting stay

Wonderful experience at this hotel! The property is beautiful both inside and out. The staff is attentive. I really liked the decor (for example the breakfast set and the soap dish) which makes the hotel very refined. We will definitely be back! Lidia and Ottaviano from Palermo.
