Perfect stay at Hotel Donatello!

I stayed at Hotel Donatello for a few days and I could not have made a better choice. The location is convenient for sightseeing, just minutes from the main attractions and well served by public transport. The room was clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The staff was really impeccable: friendly, helpful and always ready to give useful advice on what to see and where to eat. Even the breakfast pleasantly surprised me, rich and with fresh produce.
A hotel that combines quality, friendliness and great location. I recommend it without hesitation and will be back again!

Disappointing experience!

I stayed at this hotel for the bridge of the Immaculate in couple and with relatives and friends, good location a few minutes drive from Alberobello and friendly staff.
Pay attention to the rates, however, as our room was charged a much higher rate than the rooms of our friends who had booked the same type (standard) At my request for clarification they were not able to provide me with a clear and exhaustive explanation.
Also the room was tiny without bedside tables just with a small corner shelf with a night light applied underneath that looked like a lighthouse. No wardrobe just a sort of support x suitcase with a mirror where there was a rod with hangers at the top to store clothes, the bathroom poor in countertops and unhygienic wooden doughnut since it wears out!

Good breakfast, friendly staff but there are many sore notes

The staff is very kind, the cleaning thorough and the breakfast good. The rooms, however, are small to the point that: you have to be careful not to bang your head against the shelf that serves as a bedside table; the only shelf is the luggage rack so that the suitcase ends up on the floor; the bidet is almost unusable because it is attached to the shower; if you hang your clothes (also very high) you can not use the mirror. The rooms on the ground floor are literally on the street, without a hedge or railing to create a buffer zone (there's only one barrel!), so either you adapt to being shielded by a light curtain or you have to stay with the shutters down and the air conditioner always on. But the worst is the private parking that is shared with a restaurant, if this is full, your car ends up in the second and third row and either you hand over the keys or at 22-23 they call you that you have to move it.

With an eye on the trulli

A very good hotel located 5 minutes drive from the center of Alberobello. Clean and spacious rooms, ours had a view right over the country of the trulli. We stayed 1 night only but we really enjoyed it. The only criticism, for breakfast, maybe have some biscuits, tart, fruit more would be a very welcome thing for customers. All in all I recommend it for those who choose this area as a base to visit the beautiful places in the area.
