Very small rooms, uncomfortable mattress, the only good thing close to the market

No parking in the hotel for guests, there's room but the staff didn't want to get in and even open the gate that we could shop out a suitcase and get out, the staff unfriendly, 2 young people doing a good watch

One of the worst experiences.

For 2 days the room was not redone, citing unlikely non-existent finds of clothes on the bed (?!). Dirty hotel already at the entrance, where the armchairs to sit were black. Only they were white-skinned.
The staff at the entrance spoke English that was so stubborn that it sounded like mine. Poor breakfast without even a croissant or a brioche, but rich in salads and pickles. Get away.

Terrible noise from 6 a.m. and nothing recorded anywhere from the hotel

Horrible service of the counter worker
No desire to help anything.
We arrived when there was a crazy construction site next to the hotel in the stages of fever and foundation and nothing was said about it at the closing time and neither in check-in.

Friendly staff

Positives- friendly staff. The desk clerks were nice and tried to be accommodating. The location is good. Easy to get to the Mehane Yehuda Market, Ben Yehuda Street, Jaffa street light rail system, Old City.
Negatives- The rooms and hallway were tired, shabby, and the carpets and rugs were dirty. They just need to throw out the rug in in the room. It looked terribly dirty. A bare floor would have been better. The whole place needs to be repaired, cleaned, and refurbished. It's really odd that the bed did not have some sort of protector for the mattress. There was only a sheet over the mattress. There was an issue with the room heater. For 1.5 days it was 66 degrees Fahrenheit. I was told the whole floor experienced the malfunctioning heating. Maybe it was a shabbat thing but 66 degrees was unacceptable.
Construction- There is heavy construction right next door and they start early. The clerk did try to get me far from the noise but the entire neighborhood shakes sometimes with the work.
Honestly I think they try but the hotel is just shabby and often dirty. I give them a decent rating because the desk clerk guys were nice and did try to help.

Noise in wing construction

The noise of the wing construction is unbearable. The whole hotel shakes and they start at 7am. Noise from drills, cranes, etc.
