What a great place with three young boys playing traditional Irish music and a great welcoming. Thank you so much for this wonderful entertainment.

Great location but be prepared for noise
Located in the main street. Very close to everything you need. You are close to bars and restaurants so be prepared for noise. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights. Saturday night was the worst for noise. That said, it didn't bother us too much. There is no lift only stairs which might be difficult to navigate with luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Ellie Made Our Night Truly Special
We had such a wonderful experience at The White House bar in Kinsale. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what really made our visit special was Ellie. She is an absolute gem — so friendly, genuinely warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. She went out of her way to look after us, even reserving a lovely window table which made our evening feel extra special.
The food was absolutely beautiful — both our meals were full of flavour and clearly made with great care. It really added to what was already a fantastic night.
A huge thank you to Ellie for her kindness and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice place but disappointing service.
I stayed in the White House Kinsale two weekends ago with my sister. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
However, we were extremely disappointed with breakfast on our second morning- Sunday morning.
On the Saturday morning we had an absolutely fabulous breakfast and I couldn’t wait to write up my wonderful Tripadvisor review. A beautifully cooked breakfast to our specifications, served piping hot, on hot plates, with lots of toast and wonderful service by Lisa. So going on Saturday’s breakfast we were so looking forward to Sunday morning’s breakfast.
However service was absolutely shocking. All our plates were freezing cold, whilst the waitress carried them with tea towels to pretend they were hot. I asked for all my breakfast items to be well done including my poached eggs but nothing was well done and my eggs came out runny. So I waited so long for the eggs to be redone that I had eaten the rest of the undercooked breakfast and then about 10 minutes after I had finished my well done poached eggs arrived out all on their own. We asked for more toast twice before it eventually arrived, which consisted of 4 measly triangles- 2 slices of bread between 4 of us. There was no offer of extra tea/coffee like we had received the previous morning.
My sister complained to the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders and said it’s just a different chef on today. That is not good enough- we paid €220 each night, so should have been treated to the same level of service each morning. It was also highly unprofessional of her to speak ill of a colleague like that, and she herself should have known not to serve what was being handed to her.
I was going to make a complaint on check out, however it was the same waitress who arrived when I rang the bell to check us out.
I always write to an establishment to give them the right to respond before posting a review on Tripadvisor, however they did not respond to my email, having given them two weeks to reply.

Stayed here reception were very friendly very helpful. My room was at the very top of the hotel. I probably should've asked for help with my bags as the corridors are very narrow and this is what you would expect from an 18 century building rooms very well appointed was very happy breakfast was also very good. The breakfast Staff seems to be very well trained informative and helpful I went to have dinner but it seems to be a chaotic staff were all over the place but didn't seem that busy but there you go so I decided to leave and eat somewhere else.
They have very nice areas, bar restaurant and a separate dining room at 9/11 Memorial wall and general history of the Hotel I would have no hesitation and staying there again
