Room was clean and modern. Hotel was in a great location minutes from the city center. Check in process was a bit odd as there is no staff on the property but we had no issues and our room was ready an hour early.

The location was good, but I agree with other reviews about the horrible smell.
There is a moldy smell in the main room and a different sewage smell in the bathroom. You hold your breath every time you use the bathroom and it gave some of our guests nausea.
Hopefully they fix this issue, but until then, I would not go back.

Overall rating of our stay is a 1 out of 10. On night 2, the sky tv account kicked us out so we couldn’t drown out the 100 empty kegs being thrown around, the street cleaners, or the seagulls in the morning. We reached out for 2 days to the Management Team but didn’t hear anything back. We had a horrible nights sleep. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and it smelt like sewage our entire stay. We had to keep the bathroom door shut and keep the fan on the entire time. The house keeping that was provided was mediocre. Not all of our garage was taken out and our bed wasn’t made. The linens were scratchy and the pillows were uncomfortable. The price we paid for our stay doesn’t reflect the services included. We won’t be recommending this place to our friends and family.

Basic and smelt - average

Stayed here with friends for the races. Location is ideal, close walk into the main part of Galway. However, there was an overbearing smell coming from the bathroom. Found it really difficult to wash hair/ use the bathroom with the smell so we tried to avoid opening the door at all costs… albeit the shower was powerful. It seems like they’ve tried to cover up the smell with a diffuser type smell in the bedroom, which was worse than the bathroom. Come home and everything in my case smells of the room, including clothes I didn’t wear, my suitcase and even my makeup brushes!! Would only recommend if you’re having a short trip and want to be central, and if you’re not planning on sleeping much as the noise is a joke… and that’s coming from someone who was out and about drinking and isn’t too precious about having a quiet location! Real shame because the rooms are tidy, modern and the location is ideal.

Clean room, good central location. Got lucky with the parking across the street. Self check in was easy to use, there was an air conditioning unit for the room but only temporary, so it was a bit awkward to use. Spacious shower and bathroom but there was a smell coming from the drains when it was not in use. Tried the cafe downstairs for breakfast but I would recommend going somewhere else as there are far better places for breakfast or coffee very close by.
