Secret garden, amazing staff

This was a great find. We had a room in the Georgian townhouse that had ample space, high ceilings, and a jazz/flapper theme. The large chandelier fixture, fireplace, large window, and period/theme furniture were cool additions.
The breakfast options were all great. The Irish Breakfast was executed well on every item and enjoyed immensely! All the staff were so friendly and eager to help with luggage and recommendations for our activities...including the chef and serving staff.
Highly recommended for all the above and for its location.

Bravo to Delia, Molly, and Number 31 staff

Delia’s traditional full Irish breakfast – oh my gosh – yuuummmmyyy! Better than her breakfast – is Delia herself. She is a delightful being – professional, enthusiastic, and authentic! Bravo to Delia – Number 31 is fortunate to have her. And Bravo to Molly, Delia’s daughter, who waited on us! She is equally a delight! Our room was on the first floor with a patio overlooking the entry gardens – serene and beautiful. The room as well as bath were lovely: clean and well appointed. It was comforting to return each evening to a bed well made. Careful, the bath floor can be a bit slippery with the open shower concept. The reservation desk was great – not just friendly, but they sincerely cared. Everyone at Number 31 – bravo, and give an extra hug to Delia and Molly for us.

Highly recommend Number 31!

My daughter and I stayed at Number 31 for a week in May. It is a quiet refuge after a busy day sightseeing. Number 31 is peaceful without the hustle/bustle of a large hotel. The location is very central to all that Dublin has to offer with many sights and restaurants within walking distance. We each had our own room. Each room was decorated differently but both were stylish, comfortable and well outfitted with amenities, coffee, tea, a Dyson fan and high quality sheets and towels. The staff are friendly and efficient. One of the highlights was the fantastic and tasty breakfasts made by Delia and her wonderful helpers and servers. We enjoyed the courtyard where we relaxed after a long day. The honest bar is also a great perk to enjoy a drink or a nightcap.

Gem in Dublin

What a gem! Top notch lodging with nice rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is wonderful and the chef even talked with us each morning and gave us tips for our day in regards to dealing with the weather and advice on local things to do. We would highly recommend staying here while in Dublin.
