Hidden Gem in Co Cork
A hidden gem in Co Cork, Ballinadee Bus is a fun quirky glamping experience.
Myself and family traveled down from Limerick to celebrate my Daughter’s 7th Birthday. Situated in a beautiful location with majestic views of the Irish countryside, close by to Bandon and Kinsale.
The Tardis like bus accommodations are bigger on the inside than the outside are warm and very comfortable. The decking area is also a delight and the personal hot tub with jacuzzi is pure nirvana.
The Staff are so friendly and welcoming, definitely a great spot for animal lovers as the site is an animal sanctuary with a Menagerie of rescued furry friends including some very social cats and dogs.
All round I cannot recommend this for a holiday break enough.

Fun family day out.
Spent the morning with young children touring the animals, playing in the farmyard, pretend drinking the bus and having a tasty coffee break. The chocolate vegan brownie is a must try. Great spot for all ages to enjoy the Irish countryside.

Unique experience, great for families
We stayed for a night at the Ballinadee bus and did the pumpkin patch the next day. We absolutely loved it! Such a cool experience. The bus was warm and so cozy. Inside toilet and everything you need including a hairdryer and towels. The private shower is outside but right at the side of the bus so literally seconds away. Shower was excellent!
The hot tub was amazing. We got there quite late as we went after work and drove from Dublin, but the tub was nice and warm and after a busy day it was just what we needed! Our daughter was amazed by the animals in the rescue farm and the highlight was Definitely when Rachel brought her to see the rescued ponies that were in the recovery area.
Myself and my husband really enjoyed sitting in the coffee shop with our nice cappuccinos and delicious lemon drizzle cakes while our daughter was happy watching fig the dog running around the farm.
The pumpkin farm was really cool! So many details, the effort they put in was just wow! We can't wait to go back with the rest of the family now!

Campervan stay (3 nights)
Myself, my wife and 4 kids stayed at the Campervan section of the ballindee bus and had a fantastic break for 3 nights.
Although the Campervan pitch’s seem to be a new venture and is in development we were happy with everything here. The showers were refreshing but the water temperature was, at times, temperamental.
We had access to the many different animals in a well planned safe, enclosed mini farm as well as the outdoor and indoor play areas which the kids loved.
The communal double decker bus was a favourite of the kids and was a lovely area to play and hang out.
The coffee dock served one of the best coffees I’ve had and it’s such a lovely extra at a campsite. There are plenty comfortable place to sit relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings/countryside of West Cork.
The staff and owners are really nice people and relaxed and I think this adds to the relaxed nature of the site.

Best place to stay in Ireland
Ballinadee Bus is exceptional. Staying there is a truly magical experience. It is so special and unique that 5 stars do not do it justice.. It has been lovingly created and what I observed was children from 6 months up to 51 enjoying the fun places to sit, play and take in the countryside, the peace and marvel at all the animals that these incredible four siblings have rescued in creating Ballinadee Bus. A place which touched my heart and my son's hearts so deeply in just the the one night we stayed there. This is my favourite place I have EVER stayed.
Waking up at 6 and observing the animals sleeping was so special. Reading a book on a cushion on the top level of a double decker bus overlooking Cork!
Yoga on the lawn.
And the best best coffee ever and well the freshly baked cinnamon buns are beyond delicious. I have no words.
The only thing that could have made it better is if I have could have stayed for longer....
This place is not like any other camp site or quirky place to stay, it has been hand made and crafted with love and you can feel it when you stay there.
