We had a very nice room with views over the bay and Youghal. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast.

Bit of a let down

Arrived on Friday after 6pm on a really hot day. Couldn't take a shower as no water. While I have sympathy that this happens it still wasn't resolved the next morning. When water did return only one of us got a full shower.
Bigger issue was we booked a room with a sea view and bath, this was not the room we were given.
The bath particularly as travelling with my pregnant partner and infant son who prefer a bath to a shower.
Found it really poor that when I asked why we weren't in the room we booked all I got was "sorry, our mistake".
The owners do seem lovely people and breakfast was nice but the details matter and sadly they were missing.

Fabulous place to stay!

Fabulous place to stay. Very comfortable, really clean and wonderful hospitality. Aniko, Aoife and John were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious with excellent coffee and cooked breakfast made freshly to order. Highly recommend!

Amazing couldn’t recommend high enough.

Oh Wow where do I start! Myself, my Brother and my Daughter arrived at this beautiful guesthouse & it was absolutely stunning, the rooms where very clean and comfortable and huge me and my daughter shared a room which had 2 single beds and a king size bed and there was still a lot of room! We had a room on the ground floor which also had a patio door to the garden area which was lovely. The bathroom was also a great size. The views again were amazing.
The breakfast in the morning was amazing and again nothing was too much trouble, everyone was so lovely and friendly (except I was asked if my “older” brother was actually my son!) which I haven’t been able to live down yet! But as the place was so beautiful and the breakfast was also great I don’t suppose I’ll hold that against them too much
But No it was truly beautiful and so relaxing we would definitely recommend.

The host was super sweet
Breakfast was lovely
A bit hard to find the house.
Road and driveway are a bit hidden.
Right to the bridge a sharp left
