This hotel deserves a 6/5. Exceptional

One of the most beautiful and striking hotels we have made.
Paradise place in the middle of the Balinese angle. Luxury villas and services.
Welcoming just perfect from Juli. An exceptional woman who fought for this place to exist. Welcoming is amazing and pleasant.
All with the family for two nights, with a cooking class and a massage carried out outdoors.
Ideal place to recharge, far from everything, with family.

Good experience

Nice place to stay with family or friend. The villas are so clean and very close to nature. We can take a walk around villages which has beautiful rice field. There are bikes which can be used to take around villa. I missed the trip to go to waterfall near villa. Once i go to bali, i will take a book again.

I had a BALL(i)!!!

The only regret that I have about my stay here, is that it wasn't long enough. I'm fortunate enough to travel a ton for work and for personal and have been able to stay in some really amazing places. This place has been my absolute favorite! In fact, it still feels like a dream.
Let's talk location...when you're there, it's like you have your own private estate, on the edge of a cliff, in the middle of a jungle. The only noise you hear is the gushing river at the bottom of the cliff and the cutest darn monkeys chilling on the edge of the forest.
The rooms are SUPER spacious, have their own private porches AND THERE ARE SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS!!! This is important to note because most places in Bali don't have screens and you have to share your room with all sorts of creatures. The rooms lux and have lots of local wood and TONS of windows so you feel like you're sleeping in the jungle... but with out all the creatures.
The property has it's own private garden where a lot of the produce they cook for your lunches and dinner comes from. I spent just over 4 weeks in Bali and my favorite meals came from the kitchen at Bali River Retreat. You'll never find Sambal anywhere like you do here. Trust me... I tried! Also, they make their own jams at breakfast which vary season to season. Lucky me, I got the mango jam (*drooling as I type).
I spent a lot of time playing down by the river living out My "Fern Gully" dreams, but I also spent a lot of time in their infinity pool and just lounged around reading books in the open aired living space. Also, I have to mention, when you want a fresh coconut, the team literally climbs one of the many trees on the property and cuts one down for you.
If you're going to Bali and you want LUX jungle vibes, you found your place. I've legit already planned my next trip.
Juli (the property manager) and her team are absolutely amazing and so helpful. I wish they could travel with me everywhere I went.

This place is magic!

I spent a few days at this beautiful retreat together with my family and friends. This place located in the rainforest for a relaxing time out of the city burst, is so magic and peaceful that time almost stops. The host Juli and her straff took care of us, served delicious food and made everything they could to make our stay unforgettable, i love this place and will definately come back.

Fantastic Solitude

This retreat is a wonderful place to stay. Juli and her staff are so nice and attentive to every need that you feel like you've found a little piece of heaven on the Isle of the Gods. And the food! Gourmet Balinese food for every meal - everything is so damn good. My only complaint is I gain too much weight every time I stay there. But, I highly recommend this haven of quiet beauty.
