Great!

Comfy bed, clean, nice view of the fields in front, quiet, and the customary warm and friendly local greeting that you can sometimes take for granted when you’re in Bali. It’s a 5/10 minute walk to Old Man bar and plenty of great restaurants close by.

Unlucky

me and my friend rented one room each. (20 years old) We didnt get room beside eachother, as promised. My friends room (nr 8) had worse aircon than me. But both of the bathrooms are like a sauna. No air. On mondays its lugigi night, and it felt like the party was in the room next door. Very very loud. Its never quiet here, due to the workers also. But the staff is wonderful. Its difficult to have certain expectations when it is such a cheap price, but if i was choosing again i would go up in price just to be in another place.

No fridge in the rooms, but a chared one downstairs
The location is amazing, (we walk a lot so thats perfect) but so are jj stay and surf.
All in all, we have been very unlucky with the noise this 10 days. But hopefully it's just because of bad timing.

Good until…

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of days, we liked it so much that we extended it.
Great location and very smiling family.
I took them to heart until I had to pay for the room where they tried to charge me almost double, without giving me a receipt or receipt.
I asked to redo the bill in front of me and I could see his discomfort at having discovered it.
He later justified himself by saying that it was a careless mistake. Almost double? I do not believe.
Everything was very nice but what a shame about the ending...

Affordable, safe, great value, warm & friendly hosts, AC, 10 minutes walk to Old Man's

The location is unrivalled. It's right off Jalan Batu Bolong and you don't have to go through any dark, seedy, narrow alley to get home. There's another homestay right in front of it (Ika) and there is a little kiosk right in front where you can get provisions, soft drinks etc. It feels very safe which was important for me. The family is amazingly warm. There's a fridge to keep your stuff cool in the main entrance area. Not sure about upstairs but every room downstairs has a balcony. The wifi in my room (room 5) was great, no complaints. Ample space for motorbike/ scooter parking and my bed was comfortable and they provide towels. I stayed there around a week and a half in total and got new towels and cleaning service every two days which is pretty good for the price. There are so many restaurants and cafes right outside: peekaboo to the left, Italian restaurant Rosmarino opposite and many more.
If there were hot showers here I'd live there all the time!

Really good

I have been here twice, and both stays were awesome.
Super clean, super nice, cheap motorbikes for rent and the family is lovely!!,
There is small kitchen you can use any time (at first i thought would be useless but we ended up using it a couple of times to reheat street food).
