Bobby's

I absolutely loved staying at Bobby's (which is next to Three Brothers - they used to be one). The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The staff were very sweet and had many connections to help us with activities and services (driver to airport, diving instructor, snorkelling trip). The pool was fantastic and being on the beach was great! You can also see Mt Agung and beautiful flowers. Breakfast each morning on the third floor was a highlight. We liked three brothers nextdoor and Barracuda (two doors down) for delicious food and drinks. We also liked Ganesh for the curries. I would happily return here.

Paradise Found

Firstly, if you are comming to Amed for 5 star....don't waste your time. This is "old Bali" where you get the REAL Balinese experience.
Three Brothers Bobby doesn't disappoint in any way.
Fantastic staff, great facilities, and the perfect location.
Bang for buck.....you WONT find better!
We say....Come here quickly before this magnificent part of Bali is over run with tourists and developers.

Great location and pool but rooms just weren’t clean

I really want to be able to give a better review as the pool was fantastic. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately that is not enough to overcome the limitations of the room.
Yes we booked a standard room as the luxury wasn’t available. We have previously stayed in more basic accommodation but it was clean and well maintained. We can’t say the same for the standard room (rm 3).
The sheets on the first day were so thread bare there were holes in them. The top sheet was not wide enough to cover the bed. We resolved both for day 2.
The mosquito net around the bed looked like it hadn’t been washed in years, it was yellowed and very dusty.
The tea and coffee facilities in the room had cups and cutlery that you wouldn’t want to use because they hadn’t been cleaned. Spoons had dried on coffee granules on them.
The handle on the bathroom door was broken and the bathroom itself has seen far better days. It wasn’t just dated but the fixtures particularly the shower head need to be replaced as very little water flowed through.
At a minimum a full clean is required as it appeared other than a basic wipe down it hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. We appreciate a full renovation would be costly however there are some basic things that don’t need to cost of lot of money that would bring the standard rooms to an acceptable level.
The luxury rooms appeared far better but did not appear to be luxurious.
We really wanted to be able to give a better review but unfortunately we can only review based on the room and cleanliness of the room we were allocated.

Don't even bother - Attitude problems

A turn of events meant we needed to find a place in Amed for 2 nights. We usually book in advance but as it happened we were just at the location and saw a "vacancy" sign so decided to see and book the property in person.
First greeting was an annoyed "what do you want" that was followed by "check on Booking.com". After we asked to see the rooms in person the reply was "you have everything on Booking.com", while drinking and scratching his b****.
Why put up a VACANCY sign if you don't want walk-in guests?! Also what would you do if you wouldn't have internet connection, most visitors here are from different countries or to be more exact, different continents.
We tried talking with them a bit more but to no use, all we got were extremly unfriendly replies.
After seeing just how kind their reception is, I would avoid this property at all costs.

Great little place right by the beach!

Lovely place, worth asking for rooms 1/2 , which are right by the pool and the beach front with the best view. Very convenient place to stay if you are diving with Adventure divers as it is just over the road.
