Immaculate, clean, charming

Dive shop and instructors were great. My sons and I obtained our diving certifications. Prices were very reasonable, pool was clean.
As come have pointed out it is located on a dirt road in the middle of fields. View of ocean was 200 yards away. It wasn't a problem for us at all but I understand how some might be concerned. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is peaceful as opposed to loud and happening.
Worked great for us!!!

Not as advertised

We just completed a family stay at Bunga Laut and we were a little disappointed. First off they advertised sea views and I was not able to see the ocean until I flew my drone up to 68 feet. We booked two bungalows and a family room. The bungalows were beautiful but the family room was a sad space. The furniture arrangements were shabbily done, there was no privacy separating the two oversized beds and the room was like you'd find in a cheap hotel. Again, when they advertised sea views we didn't expect to be looking at the thatched roof of the next building.
The showers were very odd as the water flowed from bamboo tubes sticking out of the wall. When you turned the water on, it would shoot across the bathroom. There was also a sign warning that the water could come out very hot. Then at 9am when I wanted to shower, there was no water because they turned on their chlorination system.
It is a lovely property but the rooms should be shown as they are without deceptive practices.
I would recommend anyone considering this property to confirm the type of room and know that there are no sea views.

Superb

Stayed here for 4 nights. Quiet - very rare for Amed - and the rest of Indonesia! Everything very good; accomodation, food and diving organisation excellent. Very flexible diving and very good guides. Enjoyed it and will return.

Cosy, Quiet, & Peaceful.

We only stayed here for 2 nights as our agenda was to try out scuba diving, and then head back to Seminyak, but boy do I wish we would have stayed longer!
Bunga Laut Bungalow is a small resort in the sleepy village of Amed, with Clean, Spacious, & Minimalistic Rooms (with a very clean bathroom).
The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and the food at their In - House Restaurant is absolutely delicious!
They also have an attached Dive Center (Bali Dive Trek), through which you can try out Scuba Diving, and other such fun activities! (The instructors there are highly qualified, and very professional, and you can be sure of a memorable experience with them!)
Be it sitting by the pool and enjoying an ice cold beer, or chilling in the open - air restaurant at night with some rum and the company of your friends, Bunga Laut is the perfect place to spend some quiet days unwinding with your favorite people!

Diver Heaven

Perfect place to stay for diver enthousiast. Room are spacious, well decorated and the bathroom huge.
Swimming pool and house restaurant are all you expect after a hard day of diving.
Staff is nice and very helpful.
The premises are within the dive center but well isolated so you don't get any noise.
Just wake up, enjoy the breakfast and go for a dive !
