Regret nothing (except that third shot of Arak)
This hostel is truly something special. From the stunning layout and warm, family-style atmosphere to the incredible staff (and of course the legend that is Didi the dog ❤️), everything came together to make this one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had.
I originally planned to explore more of Bali, but honestly? Each day here felt like its own little adventure, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Start your morning right with Dida’s coffee and the unbeatable banana pancakes, then ease into the day. Evenings are just as magical — affordable drinks, a free communal dinner, poolside chill time (a little poof moment, if you will), and then things usually kick off again at the bar. From drinking games and jamming with Doy and the crew, to flash tattoos (with Grendy) and spontaneous fun, there’s always something going on. If you manage to get to bed before 2am, you’ve got willpower I clearly didn’t.
Heading into town? Make sure Astrid’s with you. She’ll switch to full teacher mode (in the best way possible) to keep everyone safe and smiling on the journey back.
Honestly, unless you’re a bit of a donut (in which case, maybe head to Nomads and roll the dice with your belongings), you’ll love it here. The people, the energy, the vibe. It’s all just top tier.
Massive love to all the amazing staff I didn’t get a chance to name — you all made it unforgettable. Although special shout out to Ardo for having the best smile and for helping me when I was caught in a bit of a wet spot. And Yoga for being an incredible boss/owner. Please, if there’s a job going let me know!

The staff helped me to arrange my boat trips to other places in Indonesia, this all worked out perfectly.
