Comfort within nature
We had a small issue at check-in as we booked online and they had not received the booking. However they were nice enough to make a few arrangements and give us a tent. (although we had to wait 4 hours to get it)
I would recommend calling them ahead of time to make sure your booking is confirmed and arrive at the venue at their usual 3pm check in time. Anytime before that, the weather is so hot that it is not worth trying to get down to the tent or even stay inside even though it is A/Cd.
They have common changing rooms with running hot water. The changing rooms at the bottom of the camping grounds which is nearer to the tents is not well maintained and quite dirty. But they have better, newer ones near the reception which requires a bit of a trek uphill.
We were pleasantly surprised to be told that the buffet dinner that they were serving was included in our package in addition to the breakfast. Even though the spread wasn't a lot, the food was quite delicious and well worth considering the charge for the total package.
The view from the venue is very nice and the climate gets cold in the night that you don't even need to switch on the A/C in the tent.
The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. They claim to be pet friendly and they have a lovely in-house dog named Zola as well.
They offer adventure sports like white water rafting as well.
Overall it's a good getaway for a group and not too far away from Jakarta to drive to.
And the price is well worth the stay.
