i am extremely disappointed with my experience at K J international. The staff was rude and facilities were severely lacking. Major issues were ..No intercom working in rooms frequent power cuts in rooms Unhygienic conditions including lizards in rooms. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone .

“A very good example of bad hotel “
Bed were extremely uncomfortable, may as well of slept on their sun lounger,
Pillow were solid hurting your neck when you slept,
Room was dust central, dust had settled everywhere
If you booked it online the room rental is 1600 per room with free breakfast,
And come if personal it 3000+taxes
Doesn’t matter if they provide comfortable and clean rooms!
If someone read from hotel management my review pls grow up !!
I still suggest don’t waste your money!!

Poor service and poor rooms
The staff were rude and very slow to help. The restaurant boasted a very extensive menu, which upon ordering 50% was not available.
Don't bother expecting any dessert or special breakfasts, you'll get what you're given and it won't be quick.
The front desk staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than helping a guest.
The bathrooms were unclean, with leaky taps, pipes and constant dripping.
If you can avoid staying here I would do so, however the beds and floors are clean, just do not expect anything you would from a hotel that calls itself KJ "International".
Not a great stay, especially when we were a group of 10 people.

Stay Away - AWFUL staff, dirty hotel
All in all, the staff was the worst part though. First, they decided to charge me 1000 rupees over the price advertised on Tripadvisor, presumably because I was a foreigner in a bad situation and they knew they could take advantage of me. Then, when I realized how bad the place was, I told them we decided to stay somewhere else and they were terrible about it. They wouldn't refund me, even though we were there for all of 5 minutes. They told me that the cab driver that brought us had gone home and couldn't come back. Then they told me basically all cab drivers in the city had gone home and couldn't come out, but that they would 'try' and get me a cab driver (they did not try). And when I asked if there were any American hotel chains in Varanasi, they denied that there were any (there are several, and they are well aware of this). They would only say that KJ was the best hotel in the whole city, and I really needed to change my mind and stay there. I tried to sit out front of the hotel and look for a cab, but they coerced me to come back inside again because it was making them 'look bad'. But when I got back inside they just kept trying to convince us to stay there, despite my partner clearly having a medical issue and me clearly repeating to them over and over and over that we wanted to leave. Eventually, since they refused to help at all or more so, lied telling me they were trying to help me get a cab when they were not, I sucked it up and made the international call to our original cab driver, who came right back without any problem and took us to one of the many American hotel chains in the city.
All in all, this is a dirty hotel with a staff full of greedy liars. I would stay away at all costs.
