Very good hotel with all amenities with 10 minutes drive to airport

Reception, House keeping, Room service were good. Asked for extra bottle of water, it was immediately given by house keeping. The breakfast spread is limited but enough.

Taste That Impresses

Exceptional food with outstanding taste and quality. Every meal was delicious mostly Soup and Fried rice, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was excellent. The chefs have done an amazing job. A perfect dining experience from start to finish!

Disappointing Food Experience at a 4-Star Hotel

While the rooms and overall infrastructure at The Olive Hotel in Srinagar were acceptable, the dining experience was deeply disappointing.
Stale Food: We were served stale food on three separate occasions—twice during breakfast and once at dinner.
No Accountability: Management did absolutely nothing to fix the issue after we formally complained.
Poor Buffet Selection: The buffet variety was incredibly limited for a hotel claiming four-star status.
Misleading Focus: the dishes lacked accomplishment and flavor especially for vegetarians, the hotel has potential, but the kitchen management and lack of responsiveness to food safety issues ruined our stay.

Unprofessional behaviour

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days on the 4th floor. During my stay, the housekeeping staff came to clean my room along with the housekeeping head. The housekeeping head made me feel very uncomfortable and nervous. There was a strong smell of cigarettes coming from him, and he started asking me personal questions, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. His behavior was very rude and made my stay unpleasant. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and ensures better professionalism from the staff in the future.
