Srinagar: Warmth, hospitality and Care

Stayed at this serene property in the heart of Srinagar-Rajbagh-after many years and it remains a top place to stay. The owners ( Vivek Wazir & family) are warm , caring people who personally take care of this place and ensure guest satisfaction is paramount. Workers at this place are trustworthy and have been serving guests for years. Surrounded by rare flowers, fruit trees and a plush lawn this place has big rooms and great food cooked in their own kitchen. Ample parking space out here and you can seek guidance from the owner over planning trips to others corners of Kashmir from Srinagar. Go for it!

Excellent hotel excellent staff great service.

Excellent service by staff Javed, Rohit and the team. They were very helpful, kind, warm and gave excellent service. Very good food and clean room. We are going to visit again because of good service.

Comfortable stay !

This place is an old bungalow turned into an elegant boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and fitted with all modern amenities such as LCD TV, Tea maker, Room heater (AC), bed warmer, and all. The rooms have very good interiors and outside they have a big lawn with so many flower plants and trees. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The only thing they need to do is to upgrade their bathrooms - it is good but can be made much better with showers with good flow, exhaust fans, etc.
The location is 10 min away (by car) from Dal Lake and surrounded by a residential area.
The food here is amazing - really liked the taste. The staff here is very friendly & courteous. They are very polite and always ready to serve.
Liked our stay here - definitely recommend it!

For a Truly Memorable Srinagar Stay

Nostalgia Comfort Hospitality Serenity & Authentic cuisine - Green Acres was the nicest place we lived in during our stay in Kashmir.
Lush gardens with an amazing array of flowering plants and fruit trees make this place feel like a story book.
Revel in the peace of the garden, read a book on the green lawns, in the shade of a tree and it's easy to forget you are in the middle of a residential area. And if you like strolling as we do, it is a short walk to the city centre.
The food we had here did not find a parallel in authenticity, so we ate in as much as possible.
The proprietor and staff were professional as well as warm and most helpful when our flight got cancelled and we needed to change our departure time and print tickets.
We were given our rooms in the quaint old bungalow to re-live the nostalgia of a childhood visit almost 4 decades ago... totally appreciate that arrangement. The lodgings have grown to accommodate many more but they retain the charm of the experience has been retained.
Green Acres has a 10/10 vote from a family with not-too-easy-to-please teens - so believe me when I say it's worth it.

Srinagar diaries

What a beautiful homestay we had.the family run,romantic cottage set in the central of srinagar city was nothing less then a movie set reminded us of the Yash Raj movies.
Rooms are very spacecous.large balconies and beautiful green lawns.
Their staff and entire team is very welcoming.very personalized feel.
Thanks Vivek for making us so comfortable and out trip so memorable.
