Good
The service was excellent good staff but location is not good
Showers are run down
Food is great

While I am pleased to know that you appreciated the service extended by our team, the breakfast experience, and Chef Raj Kumar's hospitality, I am sorry that certain aspects of your stay, particularly the bathroom experience, did not meet your expectations.
As discussed, The Oberoi Cecil is a heritage hotel with a legacy dating back to 1884, and preserving its historic charm remains an important part of its character. That said, we fully appreciate that today's travelers seek the perfect balance between heritage and modern comfort. The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla — A Truly Memorable Stay
Chef Rajkumar'seffort with our food was truly commendable the cha gosht and gucchi mattar were among the best we've had. His care and skill made every meal memorable.
Rana (F&B) was exceptional throughout our stay. No matter how many times we called at any hour, for any request he was always courteous, responsive, and prompt in attending to us. That level of consistency and warmth truly stood out.
Divyesh Shetty, Front Office Manager, along with Roshini and the Housekeeping team, made a tremendous effort to decorate our daughter's room a truly special touch. He also went out of his way to arrange delivery of our belongings left behind at Cecil to Wildflower Hall, and personally followed up to ensure it was received.
Rahul our driver, was professional, punctual, and made every trip comfortable and safe. Rintu, who served breakfast, greeted us warmly each morning and made the start of our day special. And Aman, Yatin, and Deepanshu at the Bar were fantastic great recommendations and a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere. We had an amazing time at the bar
A couple of small suggestions: the swimming pool and jacuzzi had a noticeably strong chlorine smell, which we'd recommend looking into. It would also be a lovely touch to have Dyson hair dryers in the rooms, in keeping with the overall premium experience
Cecil is truly blessed with a wonderful team and a very capable GM. We will make it a point to come back every year we genuinely love the Oberoi brand and the way it nurtures such an amazing culture and such wonderful people.
