Romantic, Great Value, Excellent Service
And the food deserves a special mention. The complimentary breakfast was superb, and I also had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner at the hotel during my stay. Every meal was outstanding. Dinner with my classmates on my final evening was particularly enjoyable. The quality and variety of the food were quite exceptional.
I also happened to be introduced to Mr. Jagdish, the Managing Director, and found him extremely courteous, friendly and down-to-earth. It was a pleasure meeting him.
Overall, Windsor Castle turned out to be a wonderful discovery in Salem - comfortable rooms, distinctive old-world ambience, excellent service and absolutely terrific food.
I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.

Nice Place for a night!
Windsor Castle is a nice, comfortable hotel and you can plan to stay here if you are planning to stay for day.
I choose the superior room this time and was impressed. Here are some takeaways from the hotel stay;
1. It takes a small effort to be patient with reception during check-in.
2. Rooms are quiet, large and spacious, I loved the old style of the bed and it had an additional small room for children.
3. Linen is very clean.
4. Bathrooms are clean, stain free and there was a constant flow of hot-water.
5. The complimentary breakfast is average
Overall worth the stay if you are planning for a night
