Worse ever Hotel experience
We booked one night to stay over to catch a 9am early flight in the morning. The room was very dirty, bed linen looked used, insects were crawling in the rooms and coming out from the shower room extractor fan, towels provided were dirty and shockingly no hot water.
We complained and was told no manager was available to help us or change rooms or cancel our booking, we booked two rooms and both had the same issues.
We couldn't have a shower because of no hot water and insects crawling in the shower room, and the hotel did not provide us a breakfast box considering that my booking included breakfast. During the night insects were crawling on the bed and bit my mother, she is now suffering with a horrible rash ( photo attached).
On check out the manager was still not available, I asked if compensation can be made for the lack of service, they refused. When I asked if half payment can be done, they started to threaten us by saying they will call the police, if we leave with half payment and threaten my taxi driver who was waiting outside not to take us to the airport.
I tried my best to resolve the situation at the hotel, they told me that because I booked by third party (Booking.com) it is thier responsibility to resolve the situation. I paid the full amount in cash as I did not wanted to miss my flight
I have used many 4 star hotels in Rajkot as you can see in my past trips I know exactly what standard to expect in that city from a 4 star hotel. I can inform you with confidence that the Evergrand hotel is at best 2 star hotel please up this on your.

Don’t be fooled by the images — the reality is nothing like the photos, it more like 1 start hotel then 4
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The first room I was given had a terrible smell, so I requested a room change — only to find that the next room was no better. There was no toilet roll, no hand wash, and the towels were old and dirty. Dust was everywhere, and the shower door didn’t even close properly, causing water to spill all over the rest of the bathroom.
The bed sheets were old and clearly not clean, and the sofa was worn out with damaged armrests. It’s obvious that management has completely neglected the property and is more interested in taking advantage of market demand than providing even basic standards of cleanliness or comfort.
When I tried to complain, the staff simply told me, “If you don’t like the room, we have people waiting to take it.” There was no apology, no concern, and no attempt to address the issues.
Overall, this was an unacceptable experience, and I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and deeply disappointed.
