Tranquil haven a hidden gem ! A must for anyone visiting India!

This is one of the most unique and beautiful properties I’ve stayed in the six times I’ve visited India! The hotel has four rooms that were renovated by the family in their colonial heritage home. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and the home style cooking was very delicious. Everything little detail was attended to with special selection to create a stylish cozy ambiance. Daily Safari in a high quality jeep was included. The landscape, fauna wildlife and birds were stunning! Almost everyday there was leopard sighting! The village of Bisalpur has beautiful art deco and traditional Rajasthani architecture. The farms nearby were great for lovely earthy walks!
An absolutely must visit for rural colonial architecture and wilderness safari enthusiasts and anyone visiting India! A tranquil sophisticated haven and gorgeous refuge from busy crowded Indian cities!

A pleasant heritage experience

Rawla Bisalpur is a truly special heritage stay that delivers both charm and authenticity. The home-cooked food is delicious—fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service: the entire team is warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay memorable.
The leopard safaris are a highlight: well-organised, expertly guided, and genuinely thrilling.
One small suggestion for improvement would be to offer basic on-site accommodation for drivers, as decent and affordable options in the surrounding area are quite limited.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a place I would highly recommend.

A crush, go ahead!

We spent three nights in February 2026 in this magical place on the road between Udaipur and Jodhpur, and we loved it! It is a beautiful family property, historic, very authentic. It feels good right away. It was watching a TV report about Rawla Bisalpur and its leopard safaris that I wanted to go to Rajasthan, and we were not disappointed. As stated in all other reviews, we were very well received by the owner who is charming. The staff is very attentive. The kitchen is delicious. There are only four bedrooms, all large and beautifully furnished overlooking a flower terrace. The pool is very nice, in the middle of the rocks, with a beautiful view of the mountain. What is special is that it is not a reserve, leopards live in the rocks around the village. As we were there three days, we went on three afternoon safaris in an open jeep, and each time we could see several leopards, even if we didn’t have the chance to see them up close, but binoculars are provided. The scenery is absolutely incredible, among the most beautiful I have ever seen: the jeep climbs the rocks in the middle of the lakes, it is spectacular! As a bonus, an aperitif is provided at the end of each safari to watch the sunset before returning for dinner. During our stay there was a ceremony at the village temple, we went there and we were greeted with great kindness. Rawla Bisalpur is a beautiful experience not to be missed.

Great hotel and experience!

Great stay!
We spent 2 nights at this property,
The setting is very nice, very clean hotel, delicious food! Perfect welcome!
The surrounding nature is beautiful, it was a great stop on our trip to Rajasthan!
The safari was great and we were lucky enough to see a female leopard and two babies.
Great pool also.
Everyone's in the care.
100% recommended

Nice experience

We spent two nights in this family-run property that stood out for the quality of the service, kindness of the staff and the extreme cleanliness of the room.
The property has a small swimming pool and organizes safaris
